Bennett MarineCC3003P Actuator Upper Hinge with Coil - Port

Received quickly, exactly what I needed to get my indicator working again. Has heavier outer sheath on the wire than the old one so it should be tougher for bending/rubbing. Old wires had red or green outer sheath, this one is gray so not specific to port or starboard, just has stickers to indicate which is which at the indicator. Install is not difficult unless you have a tough route to fish the wire from transom to helm like I did.

You won’t receive the unit shown. You’ll receive the newer unit with the gray cable, Port/Starboard stickers, adapter and new rods (two different lengths). The Bennett website has instructions for installing the new units in older cylinders. No instructions come with the hinge unit.Use the correct rods for your rams. Recalibrate your system after installation.

There is probably no better support than Bennett Marine. Unfortunately, you can only get the newer model sensor made in 2019 and forward. It won't work with your older trim indicator gauge and no way to calibrate. With the new sensor, you need to install a new EIC module and a set of switches. I'm running a single trim tab with 2 hydraulic cylinders and only 1 sensor and will not go to all of the hassle of this expensive conversion. I don't know why Bennett would stop making a sensor that works with you existing wiring and trim indicator.

Instructions were clear. Easy to install. Worked perfectly. Doesnt come with electrical clip that goes into module, so you need to reuse your old one.

Was original Manufacturer product. Fixed the problem and has good directions included

This is a great price for this item. I bought it because I thought I had damaged another one but it turned out to be okay so now I have a spare!
