In a panic, I ordered this dress for our daughter's 4th grade field trip to a colonial schoolhouse. A note came home less than three weeks before the field trip with specific instructions from her teacher stating that the children must dress appropriate to the colonial time period. Where on earth could I get a dress in the right size and style so quickly when we were leaving town for spring break in just 3 days?!?? AMAZON, that's where!!! Because the color (pink) we chose was eligible for Prime shipping, the dress was on our front doorstep before we left for vacation. Sizing when ordering online is always iffy, but I took a chance based on other reviews and ordered the exact size (10) my daughter usually wears, and the fit was absolutely perfect! It was a bit more expensive than some of the other (synthetic fabric) dresses, but this dress is of excellent quality and because it is 100% cotton she should stay comfortable even if the weather becomes a bit warm. Best of all, the dress is absolutely adorable, and my daughter fell in love with it the second she put it on. Home run for mom!!

Perfect dress for my daughters Colonial day at school. We got a lot of compliments on it and most people thought it was hand made, they were shocked when I told them I bought it off Amazon! Fabric is excellent quality and the the shawl and mob cap are beautifully made with nice soft lace details. It runs a little small so order according to measurements and not your child’s usual size.

It runs large, but if you measure and review their chart, you should be just fine. My daughter is 11 and usually a size 12/14, but she’s slim. I measured her and ordered a 10–there’s definitely room to grow but it’s not humongous. The quality is excellent—worth the price. Looks adorable!

I got this for my daughter to go to a "living history" presentation. She was chosen along with a few other children to participate in the yearly celebration of a revolutionary war site. The children spoke at the event and then were able to sleep in the tents and eat with the soldiers (reenactors) a traditional meal cooked over a camp fire. She got many compliments on the dress and how authentic it looked. She then wore it in the parade with the reenactors and fit right in.

I bought this dress for my 11 years old daughter's historical event about revolution. I was going to buy size 12 but with great helpful reviews, I have ordered size 10 for my kid who usually wears us size 12 or even 14. Size 10 is just right for my daughter and quality of the dress is great.

My daughter is about 58-59”/90 lbs. and the dress fell at her ankles. She wears a 12/14 and the dress fit with some room. The top part was a little big but with the shawl you couldn’t tell. The bonnet fit over her middle back length braids with no issues. The only cons is the dress is VERY wrinkled and hard to get them all out and I didn’t care for the price as she only wore it for an hour and won’t need it again.

My 11 year old daughter wore this for her Colonial Day project at school and she loved it. Very conferrable as she is very picky about fabric and any lace. I would highly recommend this dress

Arrived well before the allocated time frame. Really good quality. I bought a size 6 which fitted my grand daughter aged 6 perfectly. Looked great for her Victorian day at school.
