Porcelain Tea Cup and Saucer Set Coffee Cup with Saucer and Spoon 18 pc, Set of 6 (Rose)

As others have reported here, these cups are small - larger than a demitasse cup, but smaller than most teacups. These will only hold 5 oz of fluid, while my other teacups hold at least 6 oz. If that's OK with you (as it is with me), then you will want to know that the design on these cups and saucers is very nice - understated and quite elegant. The base color is a creamy off-white and they look pretty on a tea table. Two warnings, however: (1) as another reviewer mentioned, the bottom rim on the saucer is, for some unknown reason, unglazed and somewhat rough; and (2) while the handle on each cup feels fine to the hand when the cup is empty, when the cup is full of liquid, the handle doesn't seem to support the additional weight well, so your thumb and middle finger have to work extra hard to keep the cup level, to avoid spilling. If the liquid in the cup is hot, part of your middle finger may feel some burning as you try not to drop the cup. For the price, I think this is a nice set.

These are beautiful (tiny) cups. I knew they'd be small, but I needed a matched set of tea cups quickly and inexpensively. They fit the bill, and that's why they received four stars instead of three.However, there's a reason they're so inexpensive:- The bottoms of the saucers that sit on the table do not appear to be glazed. I needed to put a tablecloth down to avoid scratching the surface of my roommate's table.- The pattern is pretty, but it's not always event.- The color is even more subtle in person than it is on the pictures.- The spoons are a lot of fun, but they look a bit cheap.All of that being said, they are a perfect example of getting what you paid for. I didn't expect them to be awesome and quality teacups because they are CHEAP. I got what I expected and am pleased that they arrived quickly without any being broken. I won't buy them again, but I do plan to use them for a few years (and do believe they will last a few years).

Perfect size for chai (tea) if you are a tea lover. This doesn't make me feel guilty when i feel like having tea more than twice a day. These look lovely. The quality is beautiful. I wash them in dishwasher everyday and they are perfectly fine. The spoons handles get loose and come off easily. But the cups set is so good that I don't care about the spoons at all. But if the spoons really matter to you, then there is a problem. Overall like this product and recommended to many of my tea lover friends.

These look beautiful in person. The delicacy of it all just amps up the ‘Tea time’ concept.This is sure to win your heart and impress your guest. Kind of guilty to admit, this is my first Tea set ,”so called” never actually considered a must. It was my sudden impulse for it. The design is very pretty and pleasant. The gold design really catches your eye when the light hits it. The 6oz beverage is a definite hit with you or your guest. And believe me go ahead and flip your pinky 100%.

I purchased this as a gift for a good friend, and she was beyond pleased with the item. I wasn't sure how much she'd like it, but I was very surprised by what she had to say.The set arrived well-packaged, with not a single piece chipped or broken—something I was afraid of! The filigree is subtle and not overpowering, so it doesn't have a 'cheap' air to it, but an expensive one. The matching spoons are just an amazing, super cute touch. One, because they match, and two, because they match. It isn't easy finding mini spoons to match your tea set, I tell you!Overall, very pleased with this purchase, and the way it was packaged.

Greetings......Darling set! Colors; the red and gold are vibrant , the size is just perfect, I would say on the smaller size, which is great! I have the set hanging on an antique cup holders. Looks great, already so many compliments! Looks like I paid a lot more than I had. I would recommend, you won't be disappointed. Looks better in person. Thank you.

This is a good set. However, after a year or so of daily use, some of the design has disappeared. This means, some of the colors have mixed with the tea and consumed by me !

Everything is great about these cups. The size,the material,quality. They are really great.Picture says it all. I am extremely happy with these.
