First, the packaging was top notch! All the parts were very well protected. The printer was very easy to assemble and I was ready to print in a couple of hours. The first test prints (that came with it) came out very well.The structural parts are all well made and sturdy with the exception in my case of the printer bed which is lower in the middle area by 0.2-0.3mm.I have since learned that the Tevo company could have spent less than $10 for good servo driver modules and the bed leveling sensor and offered a really top notch machine and saved me two upgrades. That said, the driver update was fun and gave me the chance to learn more about the machine while calibrating it.I think that the Tevo Nereus is a great 3d printer to start with especially if you need its really spacious print capacity.

Design and build quality was definitely considered. I’ve been using Nereus for close to year now and I haven’t had any issues with the components. Some minor bolt tightening but that’s it. This is a great tool to get designs across, as well as, making functional parts for daily use (ie. spool holders for instance). I use Cura for slicing and solid works for CAD.

The Tevo Nereus costs around $440 USD, which is a lot of money, so I expected quality. The metal carrier had deep gouges in the metal, and scratches across my heated bed and the orange body. Then the wheels used to level the bed where cheaply 3D printed. I'm still assembling the the Tevo Nereus but everything less looks in be in good shape. I'm disappointed with the overall shape I received my Tevo Nereus in and the quality of the some of the parts.

I have never owned a 3d printer. It was easy to started printing. The manual had great directions to get started definitely recommend this for a person new to 3d printing

Very nicely designed and a good value for the money.

This is my 1st 3d printer,so i cant compare print quality to other printers. Everything works like it should I am on my 6th spool of filament and nothing shows any signs of needing replaced . Ive used pla petg & carbon fiber which to my suprise is producing my cleanest prints. I did change the nozzel to a .8mm as the .4 gets clogged quickly. Pla prints nicely and so does petg once you get the temps correct. I still have some stringy spots on my petg prints but improving as i get a little more experience.
