Samsung Remote Replacement
Our Samsung LN40-B LCD TV is 10 years old and still going strong (had to have a computer board rebuilt for $75 a couple years ago but worth it, as the TV just continues to work flawlessly.) Anyway, the original remote controller bonked. So I picked up two of these controllers, one for each side of the bed. They work perfectly right out of the package, no batteries included, but, hey, its under $10. All the button functions work just as they did in the original remote, and no issues with the buttons, they work just fine. No extra programming is necessary, just plug in two AAA’s and play. And, again, this is a 10 year old TV. Pretty good.

Simple universal remote! Great buy!
Replaced an existing remote that never worked from the original purchase of the TV. No hassle or confusing programming. Worked immediately after batteries played. I’ve been using for a few months now with no problems.

Simple to use and works well
Great unit for the price. Works as it's supposed to on my 55 inch Samsung TV. Original remote disappeared ( we suspect the dogs.) The cable remote still let us turn on the TV,change channels and volume, but we could not get Amazon prime or other non-cable shows. This remote allowed us to switch inputs and use other features that the cable remote did not.

Did what I expected it to!
I purchased this because when I was visiting my mom, the picture on her Samsung Smart TV was not full screen. She has cable, so she was using that remote to change the channels. I asked her where her remote was for her Samsung TV. She had THROWN IT AWAY!!! This worked perfectly! I told her, DO NOT throw this one away!!

Awesome replacement

Outstanding.
The original Onkyo remote has been buggy for the past few years. We opened it up and cleaned the contacts twice, but the third time was not the charm; cleaning the contacts did not help. So we took a chance on this OEM replacement, and we are very pleased. It works flawlessly with our system and did so from the moment the batteries were inserted. Outstanding.
