I needed to replace the old remote control for my dust collector. This replaces an older Shop Fox remote system that served me well until it was knocked off the wall, and the relay broke off the circuit board.I considered some of the more expensive and elaborate systems that come on when you turn on a tool, but for my small shop space, where I connect the dust collector to the machine I'm using, that was just over kill. So based on other reviews, I ordered this one knowing that it should be able to handle the load easily enough.I was pleasantly surprised with how small it is, and even better, was the fact that I could actually install it directly into the switch box for my dust collector, and tuck it away out of sight. The only downside I can think of is if the remotes fail, and I'll have to remove the relay, or I won't be able to turn on the dust collector.

I was shopping for a relay to convert an existing ceiling fan remote into one I could use with a 1.5 hp dust collector, then I stumbled upon this as a solution. For nearly the price of a relay I bought this unit. It was easy to wire inline and really does the trick. The fact that it comes with two remotes let's me leave a reserve at the collector and the other hanging next to the switch for my tablesaw. I've only been using it for a couple of months so I can't speak to overall longevity or remote battery life but I'm hopefull and would buy it again.

Using it to control dust collector in my workshop. First one died after two days. Received a replacement, and it’s been working for over a month. Cost a lot less than a remote unit specially made for turning on and off dust collectors.

I installed this device on a 2 hp 220v dust collector in my shop. It took a while to install since there was some modification of the DC housing needed, but it works very well and is reliable. It has no trouble picking up a signal from 30 ft away, even through walls. A great time-saver in the shop.

Specially chose this to add remote control to my Harbor Freight dust collector. I mounted the unit outside the switch and it works perfectly. I wanted to make the upgrade reversible so I used wires with spade connectors instead of cutting wires. Could not be happier with this solution.

Works as advertised. This is the 4th set I bought. I rated the other 3 sets as 3 stars because of pairing issue. That was operator error I would like to change the star rating from 3 to 5. Nice product for the price.

Works gets fine

Works great so far, easy to wire up both remotes work fine hooked up inline with my 1 hp dust collector. Will have to see how long it works
