Very useful clamp for flagpost

Bought these to secure a round mast to a flat post. The brackets are a good thickness and fit perfectly around the mast/pole but they are about 10mm short of going flat against the post, therefore, they will not go flush.I needed to fit them ASAP and so used a spacer. Had i the time, i would have taken measurements to show, but I can confirm the depth is not 60mm.

I expected the clamps to fit a mast tube of 38mm in diameter without issue, as it said it would go up to 42mm.However the clamp is not deep enough to fit a full mast tube against a wall, with the clamp flush to the wall so the bolts can be done up, so it is useless to me.Sadly the dimensions for the depth of the clamp are not shown, so one assumes a mast clamp will fit a mast diameter of the said size, these did not come even close!Very disappointed, and it's not worth sending them back.I won't buy again.

Per first photo, the 'depth' of the bracket is 50mm whilst the width is 60mm meaning you will have to improvise a pair of mounts between wall and bracket in order to accommodate a 60mm diameter pole.

Bij een buis van 60 mm sluit de beugel niet aan op de muur. De diepte van de beugel is geen 60 mm. Maar iets meer dan 50 mm.
