PELLOR 75L MTB Bike Waterproof 3 in 1 Rear Bicycle Bag Pannier Bags Bike Rack Bag With Rain Cover (Upgraded Green, 75L)

I was very impressed by the initial viewing of these bags, They seemed well proportioned, securely fitted and looked as if they could withstand anything thrown at them. Goes to show you should never judge a book by its cover or panniers by their looks. I have to say I'm very disappointed with their performance.The seam on the top bag/backpack started to part company on the very first load of shopping, and that wasn't even stuffing it particularly full or stretching it.On the first encounter with a moderate shower of summer rain, I found significant amounts of water in EVERY pocket and pouch, including those lower panniers that had their zips and seams covered by the top bag. I initiated a return as soon as I arrived home and even after attempting to hand dry them out there is still water coming from where it is trapped in the crevices and seams. I would have thought with the price these are , they would have been moderately showerproof....alas not, my quest for robust waterproof luggage continues.

I went for these bags because the reviews were good, they looked as good as any bags & were around 75% the cost of the equivalent alternative option.Now with not even 6 months of use, and I only cycle 3 days a week, so that’s ~26 weeks x 3 days) 78 uses the three zips (1st picture) on one of the bags are broken. The zips are/always were very stiff & the “metal” (not proper metal) has just broken one after the other. Very difficult to open now like this. The other bag doesn’t get as much use so it will break in time. 2nd picture there are holes coming through & this is the bag, with other than runners the soft gym clothes goes into! I have found water at the bottom of one inside, I’d imagine it was kicked up against the seams on the wet day that it was.I’ll have to buy at least one new bag for my work laptop as I can’t risk getting it damaged or wet. I have also had to re-bend the hooks back to normal. Weight in the bad itself isn’t over 6KGs. Slim Laptop, smart phone, diary (as in a book) & cable flex for U lock inside.Not a great Design: I use a piece of Velcro to keep the bag together whilst on the bike as if I go over a bump the bag can bounce up and the hooks can potentially come off the pannier. I’ve seen other bags with additional catch that stops the bag coming off the pannier.

As I got myself a new bike I thought I’d get a set of these panniers. I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews but since I’ve started using them they’ve been fineAs far as I’m concerned they’re well stitched with good zipsThey appear waterproof although I’ve not been in much rain but the little I was everything was still dryPlenty of room for my shopping etcSo far so good. Exactly what I wanted. Good amount of room, waterproof and strong

Works fine had these for about a month. Fits clothes for work, 13" laptop and towel in the two side bits I don't use the main bit.Carry handle broke on one (where it attached to bag), bit of a pain but I've been carrying it with the handle attached on one side for 3 weeks and has been fine
