Teepao Air Conditioner Exhaust Tube Connector, Window Vent Adapter AC Exhaust Hose Coupler for Portable Air Conditioner - Square Hose Connector

Used this to connect an extension hose to my air con unit cold air output. Did not want the constant noise of air con unit in same room as us, so used this to attach 150 mm ducting hose to the front of our unit so that it could be operated in an adjacent room with just the hose poking through the door. This works quite well and the noise level is kept very low in the sitting room. Would work just as well in bedrooms with main unit in an adjacent unoccupied room. The size of this connector is just right for my Princess air con, it covers the output grill quite well and is held in place with two home made rubber bands consisting of two strips of rubber cut from bicycle inner tubes and the ends supper glued. This makes it quick to attach and remove as required. 150 mm duct hose is available cheaply at tool station in 3 or 10 metre lengths and fits this adapter perfectly, secured in place with knotted string, so very little extra expense.
