Excellent solution. I've given it a five star rating because the device works very well. It fit very snugly (easily tight enough for travel) into the cup holder. Although extra pads were provided for wide cup holders, they were not required. The small part of the cup holder at the bottom is 3 1/4" in diameter. The wider part at the top is 3 1/2" in diameter. The holder fit nicely in the smaller lower part of my cup holder. This is in my 2004 Lincoln Navigator. You can see the small and wider parts in the included photos.It was VERY easy to snap the phone holder onto the goose-neck cup holder. And it was very easy to insert the cup holder and tighten it securely.It holds my iPhone 11 with a small case nice and tight. The holder WOULD accommodate my phone with an Otterbox or similar *size* case on it. It's not coming out under normal driving conditions. Inserting the phone is just a matter of placing it on the holder and squeezing the side holders until they hold the phone. Releasing it is just as easy. Press the release button on back and the side holders relax. I was able to easily bend the goose neck into a position that gives me an excellent view of the phone when driving. It is well out of the way of the shift lever and still affords easy access to the dash switches. The neck did not move at all during driving the first day.I tried replying to a couple of emails today with the phone in the holder. It DOES move a little but not enough to make using the phone/keypad for emails awkward enough to remove the phone.I hate that it takes a cup holder away. But, it is easy to remove if that ever becomes important. It is not Bestrix's fault I lost the cup holder. That's down to Lincoln.I tried putting the phone on the dash above the radio but it got hot enough that it shut itself down. I will not "stick" something to the dash. I will not use flimsy vent mounts. I tried a window mount but there was no place I put it that I did not feel it was in the way. Additionally, mounting on the window means draping the charging cable across the dash. I tried laying it on a phone pad by the shift lever but it invariably got in the way. The cup holder is, IMHO, the best solution I've found. This will, of course, be different in different vehicles and personal preferences.I would buy another one and recommend this one to anyone - with a caution to check the planned location first. This is the one thing I did not do. Fortunately, this holder worked fine. I think I would have returned one with a longer "neck". I would also be concerned that a holder with a longer "neck" would move around too much for me.

If it’s nicely in the holder and it’s convenient to be able to charge your phone as well as keep it visible for directions.

Had to put something in cup holder to help hold it up even after putting extra pieces on the part that goes in the cupholder. I used a tube of lotion. It filled the gap.

Used it to hold my phone when driving. Still wobbles even after sticking on pads. Phone is at a good height.

At 1st I was absolutely in love with it because it was superior to other ones that looked similar but about a month or so in it got to the place where you can't turn it so now I have to use something to make it stand still and not fall over

Love this because it is very sturdy and does not rely on suction to work . This works in your cup holder . Highly recommend.

This holder is great for hands-free auto usage. I ordered 2, one for each of our cars. The vents in my older model Jeep Liberty wouldn’t really accommodate clip holders, so this cup holder mount works perfectly in my console, keeping the phone close enough for voice calls and navigation. Easy to install and adjust. The product description was upfront that it was not made to fit the heavier duty protective cases like Otterbox, or Pop Sockets, etc. and this is true. I have an average Speck candy shell case on my SE, and I added a stick-on credit card sleeve to the back. I have to remove the cards in order for the bottom lip to hold my phone in the vertical position; however, if I flip the holder horizontally it will hold the phone even with the cards in the back. I’m not sure if it would still hold going over bumps, and it would be great if the bottom lip/tray were deeper, but seller is upfront about that. Seller is attentive and even contacted me on expected delivery day to make sure it arrived in good condition. All in all, this is a nice, convenient product with a GREAT price point - less than 25% of the cost of Weathertech’s version.

Ya llevo varios modelos de otras marcas, este ha sido la mejor opción hasta ahora. Recomiendo las versiones que se ponen en los espacios de bebida para evitar que tu celular se aviente del precipicio. Con este soporte mis telefonos ya no se caen y puedo ver el mapa sin problema mientras manejo.

Es un buen producto, cabe perfecto en el espacio del portavasos, para coches pequeños es de buena altura para poder ver indicaciones sin distraerte
