"Promise Green" is such a beautiful color! It is a vivid, grassy-emerald color. This will look good with a simple black sheath dress or with jeans and a white tee or black leggings and black tee. I can see it becoming part of my year-round wardrobe. It is lightweight and I love 3/4 sleeves. Part of the proceeds from this sale will benefit a good cause. All these are good reasons to buy, BUT: the sizing seems off. According to the size chart and past purchases, the "2X" was the correct size. However, the sleeves are very snug (arms are small compared to my overall size) and the front closes, but with little draping. There are two finished button-hole type places in the side seams: these are used to make this into a wrap around top with a back tie. But there is not enough fabric to do this graciously in this size for me. It is not bad for a light cover-up for a sleeveless top though--I'm not sure if I will keep it due to the tight arms.

Full disclosure: I returned this.That said, I actually really loved it. It was super flattering and pretty, but I live in a hot climate and the fabric was just too heavy for me. I could wear it in colder months, I suppose, but when I bought this I was trying to put together a warm weather professional wardrobe. I forced myself to stick to my plan and budget, which is why I returned it. It is lovely, though, so if you need/want a heavier fabric then I would definitely recommend this.Note on fit: this fits true to size. I am able to kid myself sometimes and get away with 1X stuff (depending on manufacturer), but I'm really a 2X right now. While this is stretchy and has nice give to it, I don't think trying to go smaller on this would make the top lay nearly as nicely. I imagine that this would flatter a wide variety of body styles since you can cinch the tie to varying degrees.

For the price of this cardigan, I was really disappointed in the fabric. I purchased it in black in a 2X and normally wear on average a 20. The fabric feels very cheap, like an acrylic knit that pills easily, doesn't feel nice, and is lightweight. Besides that, the design is not flattering for larger busts as the gathered tie (which looks like it lays under the bust) rides up to mid-bust. I wear a 46DD but have a waist and it just wasn't attractive on me. I would return but I'm past my return window.

Love this cardigan, but it is a little over priced for what it is. It is thinner than expected, but perfect for me as I tend to be warmer. It is like a thin T-shirt material. I probably would not pay over $15 for something like this normally but didn't know it would be so thin when I bought it.

Its fine. Its good for work. Its not great, its not bad, its ok. I wish the fabric was nicer. The style is cute. The cut is good. Its just not lux fabric, looks and feel synthetic. Keeping, but its not thrilling. Good enough for work but not fun enough for the weekend

Order the same size you would at Catherine's. Strings are very long. Will order another color in a smaller size. Update: after wearing and washing the last several weeks the material has pilled and faded. Smaller size was too small in shoulder and arms but still large through the body. For the price I am disappointed in the quality.

I'd been wanting this bellini since I saw it a few years ago. So far I really like it just trying it on. If it wears nice I will up the star rating. So far so good. I can't wait to wear it. :)

Fits perfectly, exactly the way I'd expect a 1X to fit (essentially like an XL in non-plus sizes). Beautiful soft-but-strong fabric that feels like it will take a long time to wear out. Perfect for covering my shoulders when I go to work because my employer doesn't allow anything sleeveless.... so I'm always looking for cover-up type pieces to cover my bare shoulders to make my outfits "work appropriate."
