Cheapest replacement remote I could find. Paired just fine with my existing fire stick. Hopefully I can keep this one out of my dogs mouth.Doesn't have a power button, voice control or volume control but it doesn't advertise that and came exactly as shown in pictures.

This was east and quick to set up my previous remote stop working and we need a replacement fast.. this did the job hands down…

You need to follow programming instructions. It’s a bit tricky and doesn’t always seem like it programmed but once you do, it works really well.

It connected to my Firestick with no problems, good replacement remote for the price

good value for price. works fine in replacing my damaged remote. wish I had gotten one that had voice recognition but otherwise this works fine for all other functions.

I have a 4K Firestick and accidentally threw my remote away, I have a terrible habit of throwing things away my accident so after I didn’t find my remote in 2 days, I knew it was gone so I looked online for a replacement and for some strange reason Amazon doesn’t sale replace remotes, come on guys please start doin this, but thankfully this remote.Pros: it works, and I had no problem with establishing a connection with my Firestick.I even tried to connect the remote with another Firestick I have that I lost the remote to and it worked for that one as well, that’s very very helpful helpful and makes it a necessity for me.Cons: for $18, I would have appreciated some batteries, even cheap ones.My remote also wasn’t new and had scuff marks and came in black plastic so it was easy to tell that it was a return but it worked so I really didn’t mind very much.Also, I didn’t mind that it didn’t have Alexa, but not having the ability to operate the TV, like volume and power is a bummer and I’ll have to get another TV remote that’ll cost me at least $10 probably more, bringing my total cost with batteries to around $35 which begs the question, should I have just gotten another Firestick? Probably so, but this review is not about my decision making but the quality of the remote so (1) it working well and (2) working for my other Firesticks and all those in the future that I’ll probably lose the remote to makes it worth it.

No instructions came with my CV98LM Replacement Remote Control for Amazon Fire. I guess the manufacturer thinks that most people are smarter than the remote, evidently; I am not. Anyway, this remote must be paired with the Amazon Fire Device in order to work properly, or in my case - in order to work at all. It's all there on the product page at Amazon.com; but not included with product when delivered. I was disappointed that it did not work when received [after adding fully charged batterys placed in the correct direction], thinking 'plug & play' = it is not plug & play. Pairing takes less than -3- minutes, and it works as advertised. Return Cancelled, keeping this one! -4- stars not due to any malfunction on part of the remote, only because the need to pair was not included with device when shipped. No volumen control, using Xfinity Peacock Device for that [TV on/off, mute, & volume].

Wouldn’t stay connected to my tv. Returned it, but my son hasn’t had any issues with his remote 🤷🏽‍♀️
