Review is for GABRYLLY Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair, High Back Desk ChairI was a little concerned about this chair being that I am only 5'4" and according to the description, this chair is meant for a taller person.Don't worry, it fits fine, without issues. I can easily place both feet right on the ground, even being a "short" person. I use a foot rest anyway, so I see no issues if you are shorter using this chair.This chair is quite comfortable to sit in, with the back being very straight up. This is good and bad. You get lots of support like this, when you want to sit completely straight, but can easily lean back a bit for more comfort, when needed. You easily adjust the tension by the front knob that controls how hard you need to push back to adjust the back rest like most chairs that recline.Speaking of reclining, this chair reclines pretty far, and is very comfortable.The head rest you will need to fiddle with to make it custom fit for your head. This is the first time I have used a head rest of this type, and surprised at how comfortable it is. Putting the head rest on, while assembling the chair is the hardest part, and its quite easy to do.As some others have said, the seat mesh is a little "scratchy", but you get used to it.I have found that I like using a cushion on the seat for extended sitting sessions, but you may not need one. The mesh seat is quite comfortable, and sometimes I switch between using a cushion and sometimes not using one. You will have to see what works for you.One big reason I got this chair is the swing up arms. I prefer these type arms, since you can easily lift them up out of the way, where as other chairs you can't do this. This makes it easy to push in the chair very close to your desk, saving room.Customer Service. One word, OUTSTANDING!I have hard floors at home, and carpet at work. My work place bought me the same chair, so I bought one for home use. I emailed the company and asked about purchasing the roller type wheels for my home chair, and they offered me an additional set for the at work chair, which I didn't need. They were willing to ship me two sets for free! I declined the one for work, since its carpet and didn't need a set. Thats great customer service, which is rare now a days. Keep this in mind when shopping for a chair...there are lots out there, and this company stands behind their product.Assembly - standard for a chair like this, very easy to do, and they provide a simple video to watch. Maybe takes 10 minutes to put together, and you can do it yourself. If you have trouble lifting, you would need some assistance.Shipping - Chair comes very well packed in a sturdy box, no issues there.Quality - I did not have any issues with this chair. Very well put together.Chair options - It leans back pretty far, and with the included head rest, it is quite comfortable to lean back when you are tired for a quick rest, or even a quick, nap. (shhhh...don't tell the boss) You can lock the angle of the back to exactly where you want it, if you don't like having to push back to lean the back rest.So far I am quite happy with this chair. I have never had a full back mesh type chair, and think that this will last quite a while, even with daily use. I think you will be pleased with this purchase. While you may be able to find a similar chair for maybe a little less price, to me, the customer service you get with this purchase is really worth it. You know that they will stand behind your purchase and your being happy with your purchase of their product. I don't think you will be disappointed.*update*Its been 3 months since I purchased this chair and I can tell you 100% no issues with the chair at all. Its quite comfortable, and I would purchase another one, without hesitation. I can be sitting in this chair for long periods of time, with no issues. I do use a small seat cushion, just because I had it left from my previous chair, so might as well make use of it, but its not really needed for this chair. I am completely pleased with this purchase. No chair is perfect, but not being able to get into a chair and sit in it for yourself, shouldn't sway you from purchasing this. Its very comfortable, and even though I am 5'4", its perfect in size, and the head rest is great too. Easy to lean back when you are tired and take a quick nap. WFH...shhhhhhhhh....!!*Update #2* 4/24I tend to give good reviews for products that I really like, and give updates to those products. This chair is one of those products that you need to know about. So far I have been using this chair everyday, for hours a day. This chair is top notch. Comfortable. Arms swing out of the way if you want...etc. I am really happy with this purchase and I think you will be too. Its hard buying a chair without trying it first, but you can be assured of the good reviews of this product. No joke. This is a good chair. I think you will be pleased.**Over 1 year later update**This is a great chair and probably one of the best I have purchased, but not the most expensive I have purchased. It is holding up just great, is just as comfortable as when I got it. ZERO complaints.I use it for hours everyday for computer work and gaming. Its a very comfortable chair and it seems it will last a good long time. Don't be on the fence any longer, you can stop looking now for a good chair.BUY IT. You will be pleased.**2025 UPDATE**This chair continues to please. Still no issues at all, ZERO. I use this chair for hours per day, very comfortable. If and when this chair starts giving "issues" as all chairs do overtime, I will not hesitate to buy a replacement chair from this same brand. Keep in mind that there are still no issues. Over the years I have purchased countless number of desk chairs, and this one is the best so far for the price point. I am completely satisfied as a customer. I am not being compensated, nor have I been contacted by the company to do any reviews, or speak positively about this purchase, I like when people update their reviews, so that you can know what you are getting into for the long haul and that in my case, no money was wasted on this purchase.

I purchased this chair as my primary office chair in 2021. I have been a full time remote worker since 2011 and have had several chairs for my remote office. This chair is by far the best of the bunch. I live in Florida and greatly appreciate the mesh seat and back which provide cooling air circulation for my seat and back. Up to this time I did not experience any appreciable wear or degradation of function. However, recently I experienced a problem with the gas rod that controls the chair height. The rod was leaking very slowly and I found that I was riding lower and lower through the day. I looked up the original order on my Amazon account and found an email address for support. I explained my issue and received a response within 24 hours instructing me to provide my address so the manufacturer could send me a replacement gas rod. In another 24 hours I received a reply with a tracking number for the replacement gas rod shipment. But wait, there's more. The gas rod arrived and I found that the rod was slightly smaller in diameter from the original which caused the maximum height of the chair to be less that optimal for me. Again an email explaining the issue, a reply with an logical explanation involving model year changes and a tracking number for a second replacement rod. Oh it gets better. The next shipment started and tracked to the shipper and one location and then disappeared from tracking. I waited a couple of days but before I could email again, I received another email with a new tracking number for a different shipper explaining the previous shipment was obviously lost. And several days later the correct rod was delivered and I replaced the rod using the instructional videos provided via links in the email correspondence. Now if you don't think this is the best in customer service by overcoming several obstacles beyond the customer service representative's control then I guess you've lived a charmed life. So this long story is in support of a 5+ stars review for both the comfort and durability of the chair but especially the manufacturer's extended (3.5 years +) support of their product. Highly recommended.

I sit up this Throne of Theseus today to type before you all these declarations of satisfaction.Between time spent in toil and time spent in trifle this Emperor of Office Chairs has served countless hours at my backside. Under load of my own significant self and put upon by pup and cat and child of size leaning in and joining their gravity to my own it relentlessly supported me without fail.Slowly over several years the metal gas cylinder that forms the true spine of this mighty throne slowly became burdened beyond even its mighty tolerance. At first it began to protest in painful shrieks and before too long it would settle in resignation at the start of my own day of efforts and labors.3 long years it served without complaint and then when I reached out to the smiths who had forged it they said not that I was clearly abusing this fine chair but instead they sent a new spine right away to aid me in my further journey. Not just a spine they sent but a big 'pockin wrench meant to pry the cylinder away and allow mounting of a new.When I proved unable to separate the spine from the body did they laugh and say that's no fault of theirs? No!Instead they sent a new base and a new mechanism to attach it to the seat. Suddenly this throne was reborn a new and ready to serve.When another long year of wear separated the head from a bolt that mounted the back to the base the smiths rose again to the challenge and sent again a back and new bolts so not only could I replace the bolt but the frame in which the bolt was stuck.I sit upon the warranty of this chair with confidence and plan to purchase another from the same smiths when it is finally time to place this upon the floor of that great hall in the sky.
