I love this book on many levels. There is a message about being you and accepting our differences. On a simpler level you could use it to explore colours, shapes and patterns. The illustrations are simple but bold and add to the story through the addition of speech bubbles. This book is lovely to share with young children but could be read with older children. I would recommend 4-7. My daughter is 4 and enjoyed looking at the pictures and seeing what all the shapes did. I needed to talk around the message with her but I think older children would just get it.

A charmingly fun packed story about a triangle looking for a place in the world to fit in, where everyone matches her. When she finally finds it she realises there are things she misses from all of the different shapes she's met along the way. It's a lesson of inclusion and diversity, told in a beautifully illustrated and funny children's book. It is a lovely, lovely book and would make a perfect gift. I got this for my kids, aged 4 and 8, they both loved it - we've read it multiple times and they have now been inspired to create their own little shape characters- It's the perfect children's book everyone must own, can't recommend it enough!!!

A gorgeous story inside and out. All about fitting in and staying true to yourself - something lots of little readers will relate to! And I LOVE the artwork. So striking with its big, beautiful shapes. I'm going to be watching this awesome author-illustrator duo!

This is a brilliant, lovely endearing story that uses colour, shapes, patterns to explore a really important message about finding your place in the world, and celebrating difference and diversity. Our three year old loves it, and finds something new on the page with every read! We bought it as his World Book Day book this year, and it’s already a bedtime favourite. Highly recommend!

I read this to our grandchildren who loved it. Every time we do they find something new in every page. It opens up discussions about shapes and how they important they are in the world around us. The conversation about the triangle fitting in opens us all kinds of social topics of 'sharing' and 'being yourself'.It's a timely book now that children are heading back to school finding friends and fitting in, the subject matter has become even more important than ever before. Lovely humour, perfect for all youngsters and a joy to read at bedtime.

Fabulous picture book with great links to shape and pattern. Clear message about 'fitting in'. Wonderfully imaginative illustrations...so much to visually explore and use as a stimulus for own shape/pattern investigation.

This is a lovely, well written story that encourages a timely message about inclusivity. The illustrations are beautiful and vibrant - perfect to draw in young readers. A great kids book!
