SB Organics Ceylon Cinnamon Powder - 1 LB Bag of Organic Kosher Non-GMO Pure Ground Cinnamon from Sri Lanka

I know exactly what Ceylon cinnamon is like. It’s smooth, almost sweet and just amazing. This product on the other hand had an extremely strong plastic smell to it. It was also coarse. I went to return it and found that this product cannot be returned. Apparently because it’s a grocery item. The seller was gracious enough to refund my money but just don’t buy this cinnamon.

I ordered 1lb Ceylon Cinnamon Powder and it has the pungent odor of paint thinner. I asked coworkers to smell, it's agreed that the smell is like acetone. There must be something that went horribly wrong, and I hope it's just one batch. I'm afraid to consume this product. I regret my purchase, and I am disappointed that it is non returnable.

This is the strangest smelling cinnamon i have ever had. There is also not a typical cinnamon taste! I have been using cinnamon daily for years and know the properties of a good cinnamon. This does not seem to be one.I usually buy: Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder and it smells beautiful and tastes fantastic, but it was out of stock at the time.Interesting that both products are Ceylon Cinnamon from Sri Lanka, organic.That is why i thought it would be safe to try a different brand (SB Organics).I hate to leave a bad review, but this stuff is unusable!

I can't believe this is still for sale. I missed the negative reviews before I ordered. When I opened the pouch, there was a strong smell of plastic, but no cinnamon smell. I thought maybe it came from the ripping of the top strip. When I put it in a shaker it still didn't smell right. No cinnamon taste either. Luckily Amazon credited us and I tossed it in the trash. I'd be concerned about what's in it. It's certainly not normal for Ceylon cinnamon.

Still poisonous smelling in Oct 2020. Extremely malodorous solvent smell, turpentine not something anyone should ingest. Tastes like sawdust. Call poison control before you buy! If you can't return it, might be useful as a cleaner it paint thinner, if you use gloves and gas mask.

Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder by SB Organics. It smells like airplane model glue - it's a nauseating smell. I cannot imagine adding it to food.And this product is non returnable.

Great deal for a lb of cinnamon. Fragrant cinnamon scent and flavor. Love adding this when making tea or baking desserts. Going to be using it in cookies, in banana bread too.Also, the resealable bag is really great quality, and is very useful. Usually I feel the need to pour out any powder into reusable glass containers or jars because the seals are no good, but these surprised me. I can keep all the powder in the bag and not worry about it being not fully sealed.

I used this to concoct a Latte for diabetes and it seems to be working well with the other ingredients
