UPDATE! Was great until the O-ring gasket fell off
UPDATE: I have upped this to 5 stars. I do love the product but had an issue with the O-Ring coming off and got lost. I contacted the manufacture, and they are sending me a replacement free of charge. :)I love this thing, I use it every day. Love that you can compost the coffee and filter and that it's super easy to pop out directly into my kitchen compost bin. Works great makes fine coffee. UNTIL, the other day the lid would not seat when I went to make a cup. The O-ring gasket was gone from the lid. Now the thing is completely useless. I dug around on the manufactures website to see if I could buy a replacement O-ring. I can find nothing. So now I have to buy a whole new one just because of this. Poor design. And this is why I can only give it two stars.

This is fantastic!
The last time I tried a reusable k cup was nearly a decade ago, and I hated it. I like my coffee bold and black, and I could never get the full-bodied cup I was seeking, nor did I love the grit left at the bottom of the cup. As a result I gave up on the idea and found two different kcup coffee offerings that I enjoyed and called it good, until... One of the preferred brands was so inconsistent it got to the point that 50%+ of the cups were undrinkable, and the consistently dependable brand has suddenly been off for the last few large purchases. Struggling through coffee I'm not enjoying prompted me to revisit the idea of grinding my own beans and a reusable kcup. Most of the available offerings are identical to those I'd previously tried and discarded, and I really didn't want plastic. When I found the stainless offerings by this company I was intrigued. Because I want a BOLD cup I moved away from the two Cafe models, worried that the water would pass through more quickly resulting in a weaker cup of coffee. I was concerned about the possibility with the EZ-Cup as well, but of the three it seemed like it had the best chance of hitting the mark, though I was somewhat skeptical it would work like I hoped it would.I made two cups of coffee with it this morning, and my expectations have been exceeded. I started with Papua New Guinea (Vienna), a dark roast from Coastal Coffee Roasters, and chose to do a semi-fine grind. I loaded the EZ-Cup, and lightly tamped the grounds before snapping on the lid. For the first cup I chose an 8oz brew to get as bold a cup as possible, and I must admit when it started I wasn't hopeful because the output stream looked a little light. As it turned out, looks were deceiving. To my unexpected delight the EZ-Cup served up a rich, full-bodied, and delicious cup of coffee that didn't taste watered down in the slightest. Could the coffee have been made stronger using another method? Certainly. Did that matter? Not at all, because the cup was well-balanced and full of rich flavor.I repeated the process with my second cup, with the exception of making a 10oz brew rather than 8oz. I was curious to see whether the bold flavor held up when pushing more water through it, and it absolutely did! I couldn't be more pleased with this product, and the two fantastic cups of coffee it gave me straight out of the box. I definitely recommend.I should also mention that the filters are excellent as well. The other thing I hated about reusable cups I've tried prior is the mess, which the filters completely contain. One other thing to note about the hot temperature of the EZ-Cup after brewing- I found that by opening the lid of the machine after making my first cup it had cooled down enough to handle by the time I drank the first and was ready to make a second.

Works better than other options I've tried
I have several reusable k cups and this is the one I keep going back to. It the easiest to use and clean. You need the paper filter to use it, but that's also what makes it convenient. Simply pull the filter out with the grounds right into the trash can.

Expensive, but sturdy
Expensive, but sturdier than the all-plastic version. Works well.

Lid pops off every time
I have used Perfect Pod plastic pods with paper filter with lid for years. They are the best pod on the market IMO. I like them so much that I decided to get the stainless steel for use with my Keurig Express. I can make my coffee but, EVERY time I do, the pod lid pops off halfway thru the brew. I even tried with less coffee. And, I also use the Perfect Pod measuring cup and I use a top brand medium ground coffee. Another downside is that when you remove pod, it is too hot to lift out. So, for me, I would stick to the less expensive plastic Perfect Pod 2.0 with paper filters. They work great and are about $5 cheaper.

No Fuss, No Mess
Ease of use; like knowing the paper is biodegradable and just tossing the grounds in the trash with no extra cleaning effort. Love this product!!!

This product does not work and there is no real 100% statisfaction guarantee
Updated Review:The 100% Guarantee of this product is as good as the product itself. It is horrid. In order to get a refund, you can not have used the product because they request that you send it back to them (at your expense) in the shape EXACTLY the way you bought it (brand new and not used). That is NOT a guarantee of satisfaction because it would mean that you cannot use it to see if you are satisfied with it. Again... this is a BS product that Amazon needs to remove from its site. Do not be fooled by their false advertising and gold satisfaction banners. This product is a scam and they will steal your money.Original Review:This pod simply does not work as intended. That spring does nothing other than take room away from putting in the normal amount of coffee grounds for a normal cup of coffee. It does NOT pack the coffee by any means whatsoever. Very wrongful advertisement. Furthermore, the top pops up during brewing, spewing coffee throughout the coffee maker. It will ruin your expensive coffee maker. The spring is supposed to collapse so this does not happen, but it does not. It is a gimmick product.Unfortunately, because of a death in the family, I was unable to send it back within Amazon's window. I missed the deadline by 5 days. So now I am trying to get a refund through the manufacturer, who is supposed to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We'll see how well that works out. I will post an update of the results either way. What I have done so I can use my old generic pods in my new coffee maker is to use a dremel to cut off the hinge of the coffee pod. Works perfectly and amazingly the top stays on. I wasted money on these over-engineered spring pods that simply do not work.

Sturdy, easy to clean
Removed one star because it's a lot more challenging to make two cups of coffee in a row because this is so hot, much harder to do than with the plastic version.
