I've been through 2 of these now, (sort of 3rd),and I wouldn't recommend one...
I especially would not buy the the 2.5 kW unit because the 220v, 5kW unit only works with 70+ ground water on low flow. If you do buy one you'll need to plan on cuting off the cord plug end and the hard-wire it to a waterproof box/cover/cord connector so you can run it with a GFCI breaker. This was the only way I could see to make it safe and meet code. Anyway... The first one lasted about a month but a small pinhole in the weld of the internal tank eventually allowed it to fill the housing with water and short out the control board. Having never sent in the warranty paperwork, I gave them the benefit of the doubt to them and bought another one to replace it with. It had a big leak where the internal piping connects to the external housing/showerhead and shorted out the control board on the very first use! Working to go off the grid and still thinking it's a great idea I decided to try one more time so I put my engineering degree to use... As such I bought a new control board from the manufacturer and then put extra drain holes in the external house to prevent it from flooding and shorting the control board again even if it did leak. Then, between the 2 dead units, I built a single unit that did not leak. (I know it didn't leak because I bench tested it with flowing water before I put the top cover on it)... It worked great for about 3 months and never leaked, but we had a short power failure and the control board quit working again... I'm done now... DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

Love it
I live were houses do not have hot water heaters. I was using what they call here a suicide shower, directly attached to an electric cable, I was spending about $80 a month to use it and it did not work well. Well this one heats great! My electric bill went down $70 last month. It plugs into a 110 safely and easily. I love my hot shower, this works great. Thank you
