I run D1 cross country & track. The liquid iron has helped me a lot more than iron pills. It’s the best switch I’ve made to my lifestyle. Mix it with a shot of orange juice so it’ll absorb better. It doesn’t taste good but it definitely helps as long as you’re consistent. You’re not going to find any iron supplement that taste good. I’ve been using this brand for a few years & my teammates use it as well.

You can not get this stuff over the counter and it is difficult to acquire via the pharmacy route.

It leaked everywhere in the packaging. It also tastes horrible. Save your money and don’t buy this. I am trying to return it get a return and Amazon is not allowing me. They won’t even answer my calls. Save your money.

I have been anemic for years and never had any success with iron supplements. After taking 1 tsp a day for 6 weeks my iron increased from 37 to 39. I do notice when I forget to take a dose. The next day I feel tired again. I won't say that I have tons of energy since I started taking this, but I will say that I am not as tired as I once was.The bottle says "do not take Ferrous Sulfate within 1 hour before or 2 hours after antacids, eggs, milk, milk byproducts, coffee, or tea." It is hard to take this within thse parameters, but if not, it's just a waste of money. So I usually take my dose at night with a few ounces of orange juice as vitamin C aids in iron absorption.

Good results really bad taste

I suffer from Iron deficiency anemia and have to take an Iron Supplement. I need a liquid iron, because pills do not completely dissolve and you have to take a higher dose. This supplement has brought my iron levels back up to within normal range. Now I only have to take half the dosage previously recommended by my Doctor. Finding a liquid iron in the local drug stores is not easy and they wanted to special order it for me at a higher cost. I decided to look in Amazon and found this product for a very good price. This has done the job and I will continue to use it. The taste could be worse, but is not as bad as some others that I have tried. I am not saying that it taste good.
