Great flavor
Nonesuch mincemeat temporarily stopped production of their mincemeat. After a holiday without our traditional mincemeat pie I resorted to Robert's. Definitely different, but good! I'm glad though, due to demand, Nonesuch went back into production

Good product
This single container will not be used for a while. Have the double one that will be baked later in the week. Will then give a review of the product.Oh, yea... This is the real deal. Made wonderful pie. Of course had some Hard Sauce on top.Would recommend.

Used for Thanksgiving pie. Delicious!

Arrived promptly.
Flavor was too heavy on citrus. Jar content was half what I expected. At least 2 jars would be needed to fill a pie shell.

Small jar but really good
Wish it was a larger size but it was great (can two days late) but was worth the wait

UPDATE TO A GREAT MEMORY
Mom used to make mince meat pie at the holidays when I was young because my dad especially liked it. Have wanted to make one for years but couldn't find the mincemeat. Decided to try online and picked this one as it sounded like it might be good and it was indeed yummy. Required two jars to make a 9 inch pie. Added 2 T. of brandy...stirred it up and put it in the crust, baked and voila...memories abound. Even my husband liked it and he has said for years he never eats mincement. Vanilla ice cream with the pie takes off the super rich spicy edge. A traditional Brandy sauce would make it a bit much I think. This is vegetarian too. I highly recommend it and am going to buy two more jars for next year.UPDATE: Bought this product again this year 2013 and was very disappointed...not the same mincemeat. Seemed stronger, dryer, raisins were tough, there were small hard bits that were concerning but I hope were sugared particles and unlike last year, the mincemeat had little white rice looking pieces through out which seemed to be fat. They melted in the pie but the oil soaked into the crust. Threw out half the pie. I hope my glowing initial review didn't lead others to disappointment this year.

Worst Mincemeat ever
This is the worst mincemeat I’ve ever ever tasted. The texture is off and grainy/sandy, the taste is way off and i can’t believe Robertsons is still in business. Horrid product. Truly a holiday disappointment. Stick with None Such (if you can find it) or make your own and accept no substitute.

Not enough for a regular pie!
You would have to use at least 2 jars to make a regular size pie. I was so disappointed when I poured the jar of filling into my bottom pie shell. This jar might make 2 little hand pies. The flavor is very good but it's not worth $15. a jar, which is what I paid.
