I have macular degeneration and was having difficulty reading the various menu screens on an insulin pump and my smartphone. I had already upgraded my computer monitor to a very large 43"(running Windows 10 in high contrast mode) and I wanted a camera to put any device in front of it and enlarge it on my 43" screen.I compared various document cameras available and settled on this model, primarily because it had a standard HDMI high definition video output which would supply a signal directly to my monitor. It also has a USB output to use with a laptop. The first unit arrived and it would not power up. I sent it back and Amazon immediately replaced it within two days. The second unit worked flawlessly, and I think now that my problem with the first unit may have been operator error. The buttons on the vertical column are very easy to operate (auto focus, exposure dark to bright, digital zoom, image effects (high contrast video in various text and background color combinations; I don't use that) and a small LED next to the camera head which throws more than enough light onto printed materials for viewing and reading.The build quality is excellent. It's made of sturdy metal and the flexible design of the arm holding the camera is useful to put larger objects beneath the camera on the end of the arm. The base is extremely heavy and keeps the unit from moving when you need it to remain still.You'll need to provide your own USB power supply (a USB type A smartphone charger works fine) and your own HDMI cable to connect to your monitor. I usually leave it on all day and switch my computer monitor to it when I need to see something. For occasional travel I'm planning to take it with me and pair it with one of the 15.6" folding portable HD computer monitors which fold flat. Even the box it was packed in was high quality and can double as a carry case when you want to take it somewhere. All in all a very positive experience and one more thing for my bag of tricks to alleviate my vision issues.

Was looking for doc cameras to use in classrooms and this brand continued to show up on review lists. I ordered both this one and the VX-Z --- I think they are both great. The picture quality is clear. The camera head is super easy to manipulate and holds its position at all angles. The features are easy to access and use.The cameras are very easy to connect to the laptop via USB and the Visualizer program - and it is also very simple to connect to a projector via HDMI.(I did have trouble getting these cameras to connect to an Auking projector, so I reached out to customer service. They were GREAT. Very thorough and quick to help - they continued checking in with me until I got the problem fixed! I ended up going with a different brand of projector and the camera worked super easily! -- so, even though I was pleased with the Auking projector, don't use it with these Ipevo cameras. We ended up going with one from the Fangor store and the cameras worked exactly as described! Plug and play!!)Great price for a quality camera and I had GREAT experience with customer service.

This IPEVO document camera works like a charm. It's lightweight, portable and easy to use. It is truly plug and play. Also like the IPEVO Visualizer software that's one can easily download and is intuitive to use. Great design with good button placement. Good digital zoom, although i wish it came with optical zoom and not just digital. (But, alas nothing is perfect!) This is a great document camera though, I can use it in Court to display exhibits to a jury and will not have to worry about connectivity or compatibility issues at all. Intuitive to use, very portable and very reliable.

Easy to install and operate with extremely minimal learning curve. Makes teaching or conferencing via Zoom effortless. I tried a different camera but it wasn't compatible with the latest Mac OS so I sent it back and spent more for this one. Glad I switched, because this product is vastly superior and definitely worth the cost.

This document camera is for teaching painting classes. When hooked into a laptop and using Visualizer software, the camera function is perfect to capture stages of the painting that can then be cropped and sent to student. The file folder can be set for the default location of any camera captures. When using a TV or monitor, students and see what it being done in the correct orientation. Overhead mirrors reverse the view opposite from the instructors. Art centers where I teach are purchasing these cameras for themselves after seeing how beneficial it is to the classes. Great tool.

Very lightweight and portable, easy to use. Connected directly to my TV with an HDMI cable without any connectivity issues. Focus was great, didn’t need to make any adjustments to the other features. Best investment for my business!!!

I'm using this tool as a virtual math tutor, and it's compact design, ease of use, ease of install, and features make it worth every penny. The arm allows for adjustment in such a way that I can sit the weighted base on the edge of the desk in my compact office and work maths on a notebook. The "rotate" button means that I can flip the image without having to turn the document camera around during instruction. It's just a great doc cam people. :) It has livestream, web cam, and recording features too... haven't even needed those yet.

Antes de esta compré una IOCHOW para escanear texto y tomar fotos y grabar video. Mi gata la voto y decidí comprar DOS!! de estas. Creo que no fue muy buena idea. Esta no hace nada de eso es solo una cámara para conferencias. Tien ela ventaja de que se puede doblar y sirve tanto para presentar detalles de lo que seescribe como la cámara para tener un primer plano del expositor. Es solo cuestión de ponerla en la posición deseada. No obstante el no poder escanear y tomar fotos deja un sinsabor y hace pensar que derepente hubiese sido mejor comprar una un poco más profesional con escaner aunque sea mas cara.
