Works with QNAP TS-251D
Got this today for my QNAP TS-251D as we have had at least 1 powercut a week over the last month. Unboxed it, plugged it in then plugged in the qnap, then the usb comms cable between both and all is working well - the Qnap reckons it has about an hours runtime via this UPS which is great. Have tested it multiple times now and NAS keeps running. There is no power lead with the UPS but there is a kettle lead extension...the idea seems to be you use your existing desktop/NAS kettle lead to run the UPS and the supplied extension lead to power the computer off the NAS. Also, FYI, when i unboxed the UPS and wiggled it a little there was a rattle from the inside...however, after taking the front panel off this just seems to be down to some free space around the internal battery (2-3mm either side) so nothing to worry about. No issues and seems to be a nice compact unit. The LCD display is also a nice touch as well as it can show remaining battery (time and percent) as well and input/output consumption.

Ticks all the main boxes for backup home power for Modems and NAS servers
So what I was looking for was something to talk to my Synology NAS down from full power to a nice sleeping state- and also to power the main home modem/router for longer - a couple of hours. The nice things about this are that it is plug and play and has an lcd display as well. The USB connection to the Synology NAS - just works with minimal configuration - so the NAS now powers down gracefully in the event of a power failure after 5 minutes - unlike QNAP and Buffalo - have found Synology very sensitive to power blips - so this prevents me having to spend a lengthy amount of time bringing it back online. The LTE/Fixed Wireless Modem - is powered by the UPS - and seems to have 4-5 hours of runtime in a power loss situation ( - a standard modem that doesn't have to power a mast would probably run for much longer)For the size of the battery - this NAS is still fairly tidy and slots into a 4U slim horizontal space - and also runs fairly quiet. So overall all fairly happy with this - would have given it 5 stars if it came with a UK Plug and something like thishttps://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B082VJLJLZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1(So that you can seamlessly plug in whatever you need to)

Linux/Unraid compatible
Bought this to keep my Unraid server up during short power outage blips and to allow graceful shut down during longer power cuts. Gives me around 15 minutes runtime which is ample.... my server is fairly power hungry so was actually pleasantly surprised.Plugged in via USB and Unraid recognised it with no issues and allowed me to configure what I want to happen in the event of a power cut.Nice compact size and looks smart. Great price and gives peace of mind. Would recommend.

CyberPower is not what is used to be
I bought one and it was not working. When switching from main to battery, the UPS was unable to deliver constant power to the NAS even if the battery was fully charged. It was like someone was playing with the ON/OFF switch. I ordered then a replacement. This one, instead of shutting down a computer after one minute as scheduled, it restarted the computer. I returned the replacement also and asked for a refund. CyberPower is not what is used to be. I asked for support from their Customer Services. They said this product is not suitable to protect a computer and recommended to buy a more expensive model. What is this product good for if it cannot provide UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER when required? I want also to mention that each of them arrived in boxes having a flattened corner. Also a "FRAGILE" sign was not present on the boxes in each case. These UPSs weigh about 7kg so I assume they are not properly handled during transport. Amazon must do something about this! Currently, the price of this UPS is £120.98 new and £93.44 used-very good. What does it mean "used-very good" in this case: original packaging will be damaged. Imagine!

Great UPS for Home/Office use
Great UPS which integrates with my Synology to gracefully shut it down. Holds a really good amount of charge that I can power my comms cabinet at home and 2 synology for over an hour.
