Made life easier
I hardly ever write reviews but this thing has made my life easier and I love it! I was originally looking for the Nutribullet Baby blender/steamer combo but couldn’t justify the price tag, came across this one and glad I purchased. It’s so easy to use and clean! It’s a little loud but what blender isn’t, it has a timer for steaming which takes the guess work out of it so no more fork poking stuff if you’re trying to give baby BLW size pieces. The blender works well, occasionally there will be a small piece of food that didn’t get blended well but I’ve found if I just pulse it a few more times that usually does it.Overall I recommend this! Can’t speak for longevity yet as I’ve only had it a few weeks.

Best Baby Appliance
This is a great item to buy if you are starting your little ones on pureed foods. I was looking into several different brands and most of the known name brands had bad reviews in regards to ease of cleaning and mold being an issue. What I was looking for in a machine was, ease of cleaning, practical, all in one, and not too big & this blender checked all of them off! I love how the machine will steam your food and blend it right after! You can just plug it in, prep, and forget all about it. I was also glad I didn't have to buy a separate steamer!

At first I thought it was awesome
I loved this when I first started using it. I had a baby Breeza with my oldest 10 years ago. I gave that to a family member and it lasted through 3+ kids in 3 families. I was using this constantly because we just started solids this month and it was great until it started to sound like it was struggling to puree. Then the lid didn't want to close consistently. Then it just stopped turning on. This all happened in less than a month. Still haven't heard back once I sent my video to the company. Really unhappy with this and I rarely review stuff, but either I just got a dud or this machine is worthless.

A comparison to the Beaba- pros, cons, overall review
I'm a mother of 2 and with my 1st, I had the Beaba. At the time, I thought it was the best invention ever- super easy to use and straightforward and it saved me so much time to make food for my little one. 2.5 years later, I was about to start solids with my 2nd, only to find that it was questionable to use as the .5 diameter of a hole where the water goes in, was almost impossible to clean, even with vinegar, so I unfortunately had to throw it away. After reading reviews, I found that I was suppose to clean it after 6-8 uses, which I didnt know until after the fact (truth be told, I skimmed the instruction manual).Since I was in the market for another similar product, I purchased this item as the area to put the water was very big and easy to access when it was ready to clean. After over a month in use, here are my thoughts-1. Bottle warmer feature- Love that it doubles up as a good maker and bottle warmer, however, it takes a while for it to warm up- I rather stick with my bottle warm that has a dial- much faster2. Ease of use- not easy or straightforward- I had to read the manual diligently to make sure I got everything right- not the hardest thing to figure out, but yes- you have to read the manual on this one for sure, no skimming!3. Quality- it's been great so far, no complaints. It does get water spots in the reservoir fairly quickly, but I already know how to clean this feature4. Blending noise- I comparison to the Beaba, its slightly louder and it blends itself with an option to blend more, with the Beaba you have to blend it yourself5. Liquid excess- with the Beaba, I liked how the liquid from all the vapor and steam was left at the bottom of the basket because you can put more of it in the basket if the puree is too thick, which this machine you cannot do that, a bit of a con for me as the puree can be a little thick and hard to swallow- I added water to make it to the consistency I prefer6. Chicken and meat- I like that you can cook raw chicken and meat in this machine- the beaba doesnt allow you to customize the time ot would take to cook it, so a pro for me7. Size- compact and similar to a Beaba , so pro for me!8. Blender- i notice that the blender is slightly better with the Beaba, to ensure prunes and the skin to fruits, such as apples, is completely blended, i transfer it to my ninja blender- not the end of the world but it would be nice to have better blender.Overall, I like it and it does the job, so I will be keeping it and I would recommend it, especially with the huge savings- a Beaba easily costs $150 without tax and shipping. Good luck and hope this was helpful!

Self-clean function is disappointing
I liked the idea of this all-in-one item. Worked as expected for steaming and pureeing. However, the self-clean function leaves a lot to be desired. Made Spinach puree using the auto mode, came out great, but then did the self-clean function and there was still green and spinach residue all over in the cup and blender area and lids. Ran the self clean a second time with no difference. Then tried the sanitize function and again, no difference. Had to take all of the pieces apart and clean it by hand. The instructions recommend hand wash. Made banana puree and went through all of this again. A big selling point for me was self-clean. Not sure what their definition of that is but as a consumer I expect it to "self clean". Returning item and buying immersion blender and food steamer instead - both of which I will use long after we need baby food anyway. If I'm going to end up spending time on this task then I'm gonna skip the shortcuts and make it worth my time and money.
