Where has this product been?!

I have been cloth diapering for over a year now, and thought I had tried ever type of cloth diaper friendly cream, except for this one. My son has had horrible butt rash the past 4 months. Cracked and bleeding, raw and red. I was at my wits end to try and find something that would work that wouldn't destroy my diapers and not have to use liners all the time. My first go to was Motherlove Diaper Rash & Thrush cream. This seemed to work good, however after a month his butt continued to be red everytime I put him in cloth with the Motherlove. Earth Mama did nothing to prevent the rash or sooth it. Switched to Grandma El's when it was still labeled as cloth diaper safe, it definitely helped a lot, but had to strip my diapers twice. I still keep Grandma El's around for skin related problems or if I had to use disposables. I was about to give up now that ammonia seemed to be the culprit, and thought maybe my diapers were the problem. Alas, the diapers are perfectly fine, clean, stripped, bleached, sunned, etc. So while researching online I narrowed it down to trying different creams. I ordered CJ's and waited with high hopes, but low expectations. Boy was I wrong! I couldn't wait to get my son back into cloth when this came, and I am glad I didn't hesitate. Not only does his butt look the best it has ever been, but he is back loving his cloth diapers again. I cannot give this product enough praise. While I know everyone has their own thoughts with what could have gone wrong, what their favorite creams are, etc. I know that I have finally found the cream that best fits my son and I will never order another diaper cream again!

Great stuff - with a quick fix if it gets grainy

I love that this is all natural and just melts into the skin. The unscented doesn't really have any smell to it either, which is nice. A little goes a long way (unlike Grandma El's, which I feel you have to use a lot more of to get it spread out). I use it as diaper cream for my cloth-diapered baby, and use it on eczema for me too.I have had 2 batches (of about 8) that arrived grainy. Here's info from CJ's about how to fix this problem. I tried this on my 12oz tub (microwaved 60 seconds, then stirred, then froze), and it is now super creamy smooth.Info from CJ'S:Since we don't add any kind of stabilizer to our formulation and all the products are all natural, BUTTer will sometimes need a little more TLC than we are accustomed to in commercial products or those with all the ingredients you can't pronounce! Shea butter will sometimes become grainy due to the heat during transit in the summer or because of temperature fluctuations. It's not a problem, unless you don't like it. meaning the ingredients are still the same and grainy BUTTer is equally as effective as it's smooth counterpart. If you'd prefer your BUTTer to be creamy, just remove the cap and microwave it for about 45-60 seconds (standing up in a microwave-safe cup if it's a tube). Then replace the cap and shake the bottle well or stir well if it's a jar or tub. Place it in the freezer to re-harden and it should be smooth and creamy again. Melting the BUTTer melts the crystals in the shea butter and cooling it quickly in the freezer keeps the crystals from reforming.

Fantastic product for preventing diaper rashes and curing all sorts of irritations

My partner and I love love love this product, which we've used on our son since he was a newborn (now 15 months). It's safe and natural, smells and feels good (not greasy), works with cloth as well as disposable diapers, and is super effective at preventing and treating diaper rash. Using a small amount of CJ's 2 or 3 times per day keep rashes away almost entirely, and the few times my son's bottom has started to look a little red, rough or irritated, extra applications clear it up in less than 24 hours. We use it for other minor skin irritations too, like chapped hands (mine and baby's), teething rashes on the baby's face, dad's razor burn... and a little bit goes a long way, so even though it's more pricey per volume than many other diaper creams, we think the value is there. ((Pro tip: buy the biggest container you can find (big savings per ounce), and scoop some out into a smaller container -- labeled "NO BUTTS!" Use that one for non-diaper applications. And, commit to no "double dipping" in either container.))

Great for PUPPPs rash

I have PUPPPs rash (pregnancy rash) and doctor said super-dry skin. So, when looking to put some sort of lotion/cream near my girlie bits, I thought of using the CD-safe cream…if it's good enough for baby, why wouldn't it be good for me (and my undies).I did order the unscented and the photo shows warm vanilla cake. I received unscented. It truly is unscented as I can't smell any scent from it.The labeling on the package is better on this than on the "spritz".After using the lotion/cream, it has helped my rash tremendously. It does say on the package that if it becomes grainy (which mine was), to melt down and place in freezer. I have melted it down and it is currently in the freezer now, hopefully to turn into a wonderful state which makes it easier to apply. This has worked for me, and I'll buy more if needed.

Worsened my son's diaper rash

I used this on my baby's diaper rash and unfortunately it made the rash 10x worse! It happened quickly and after buying a different Maximum strength brand it took over a week for it to completely resolve. I felt terrible because it was so painful for my little guy.
