It works with very few issues.
Before I got this I tried a much more expensive option and that device was very glitchy. So I chose to downgrade to a simplistic option instead. This device has slightly lower sound quality as it's connecting through the AUX input instead of the iPod input. It also will not auto start or stop your music in any way which is kind of a nuisance--my phone generally keeps playing for 20-30 seconds after I shut the car off. But overall as a simple Bluetooth-to-aux device it does what it's supposed to.I will say that had I known it was simply plugging into the aux port through the Mercedes adapter I might've spent half the money on a different device that would plug into my current Mercedes adapters aux input. But there is also something to be said for not having six feet of cables wound up taking up most of my glovebox.The only issue I've had with this is on very hot days it sometimes stops throughput in some way. My phone keeps playing and everything shows connected on all ends, but the sound randomly stops. What I've found to fix this is unplugging it in the glovebox and plugging it back in. It will reconnect and work normal again. I've only noticed this on very hot days which in my state is only a couple months of the year. And it usually only happens 1-2 times before the AC cools the car off enough. As a matter of fact, I didn't even think about opening the glovebox AC port to cool it off faster until just now. All that being said, if you life in a very hot place you might want to shop elsewhere.
