This brand is GREAT for "problem cats"!
I just bought this in a spray, because I'll be driving my cats across the country in my van, from California to Ohio- and my cats aren't used to traveling. Who knows what they will do- but the plug-in version worked so well, I had to have something for the van. I have a boy cat who used to be bullied mercilessly by another of my cats years ago, and as a result, he got into the nervous habit of "spraying", or "marking" certain areas, I guess due to stress. He's fixed, but that doesn't help. He hasn't done it much since the other kitty died, but cats hate chaos and messiness, and right now I'm in the middle of moving, so I was worried. I've been using the plug-in for a month. It makes all 3 kitties so calm & relaxed when they are in the boxed chaos that used to be our living room! No spraying on anything the entire month! I will want to have one in every room they are allowed in after I move! I wish they made a USB or lighter-socket version for vehicles! The scent is something only felines can smell (unlike the pee Will Feral used to spray... that's him in the white box next to the plug-in- he was sleeping peacefully but as I took the pic, he was getting up for a pet!I wish I'd have known about this stuff years ago! I see they have calming treats too, so that will be my next order. My daughter says they work!

Works for us - all cats are different.
This spray uses the analog for the Feline Facial Pheromone, Type 3 - which cats use to mark furniture and other inanimate objects in their environment. It helps them to create a "map" of safe zones and places where they can relax. The spray version is a higher concentration than in the wall diffuser (same pheromone used in Feliway Classic Diffuser), but wears off quickly. We use it for spraying carriers for vet visits, as well as introducing new cat furniture and toys. It got a lot of use recently as we adopted a new cat and wanted to make the room we used for her initial quarantine as inviting as possible. The downside - the pheromones also attracted our older resident kitty who was obsessed with trying to get in the room to hang on the cat tower laced with the spray.

Great for Stressful Situations, But Pricey
I bought the 20ml bottle of Feliway Classic to help keep my cat, Smokey, calm during vet visits and upcoming home remodels. The product itself works well and is a great tool for easing stress—definitely something I plan to keep on hand. The packaging says it provides up to 16 uses, which is helpful to know.My only issue is the price—$20 for such a tiny bottle feels a bit steep. Otherwise, it’s a solid calming aid.

Doesn’t work for my cat
Not sure if it’s just my cat, but this hasn’t worked to keep him from going crazy in the cat carrier in the car. He still meows as if nothing was sprayed and constantly attacks the walls to get out. Doesn’t seem very effective. On the bright side it doesn’t leave any residue or mess upon spraying.

Worth it!
We bought this for our recent cross country move with our cat. She does not do well at all in the car and this spray made that long carride so much smoother. When we arrived in our new place, we sprayed some of this on her cat items and now that's her most frequent space. She quickly snuggled up to what we had sprayed this on and has adjusted so well. So thankful for a great product!

⚠️Caused Severe Allergic Reaction in HUMAN⚠️
As recommended by my veterinarian, I purchased the Feliway for my cat to calm him during an 18 hour car ride. I sprayed one spray into his carrier 1 hour prior to leaving on our trip. The instructions read that it wears off in 5 hours. We began our trip without incident. We were about 12 hours into our trip when it was my turn to get our cat out of his carrier and offer him food, water and his litter box. I had him out for about 15 minutes holding and petting him. I felt a little weird but just thought I was tired from the drive. I put him back into his carrier and we got back on the road. Thankfully, I was not driving at the time. Ten minutes later my tongue and lips began to tingle and swell, my throat felt as if it were narrowing, I began to cough like I had just inhaled some hay particles and was randomly nodding off. If it would have gotten any worse I would have had to find the nearest ER. These symptoms ever so slowly subsided but in all, lasted 8 hours! The description, packaging, insert and bottle all read that the product does not effect humans. I am 100 percent sure this is what caused my reaction as I am 34 years old with no record of allergies and I couldn't pet my cat for a week without having a reaction, more mild than the first exposure. He was given a thorough bath and his carrier scrubbed. I haven't had an issue since.

Allow 5 minutes of quiet first and it WILL work!
For those saying it doesn't work, they have to smell it for about 5 minutes before it works! I have a skittish cat that I was expecting to destroy the vet with her calls. They sprayed it on the towel in her crate and on my sweatshirt. Within 5 mins she walked out of her crate purring. I held her while they cleaned her ears and gave her shots. Was a perfect angel. We also have a long haired cat who is matted and needed shaved. Sprayed this on a towel in a quiet area, waited 5 minutes and began shaving. He laid there purring and enjoying the rubs of the electric shaver. I reapplied to the towel and my shirt about 10 minutes in to keep it going. This stuff is amazing!Effectiveness:Very effective!!

Seems to help with issues
This seems to help with urinating issues from my ginger cats. The vet can’t find any medical reasons for this problem so we assume it’s because of stress. These plug ins seem to help, but I had to double them up in certain areas and if they get blocked it didn’t help.I wish the light would turn red when it’s time to replace them. I also wish they weren’t so pricy since I need to continue them for a lengthy time.
