There's nothing to dislike about this product as it's pretty simple really. You add water to the bottle, screw on the resovior base and hang it up. Hardly any birds have used it but that I think is due to location, 20ft+ up from ground outside a flat window, within inches of the window. The birds do use the feeders I have up in the same location although bright indoor lights and any movement from me and they're gone quickly! I do feel it will be used more once in a location in a garden.

Had exactly this from a garden centre but dubious it would get used. However, it does and its very hardwearing ... except when it falls to the floor and the locking tabs snap off. Then its useless.So bought the same as a replacement. It came as is in a plastic bag. Assembled. I am amazed it didnt get broken in transit. Its in the tree and being used.It is difficult to clean. Dirt and mould gets inside and especially in the locking tabs. You will never get it all out. Its not a good design but it works.I am not sure i will buy this model again through the post

The birds like it ! Works well, easy to clean.

It works, it’s ok, but the design could be improved by having a better filling system. Either a removable lid/top or a filling valve of some kind so you can fill from the top. Currently when you fill the water vessel and then quickly invert it, the vessel is then only 2/3 full.

I am so pleased that I came across this water bottle for the wild birds.I have had two plastic bottle versions of this that had the bottle neck that screwed down on to the blue dish. Both broke on me and were a nightmare to clean. I found the water left a green stain very quickly and it was very difficult to get at it to clean well.This design is much more robust. The large opening makes it so easy to clean, refill and twist back into position. I agree with others who commented that the plastic loop needs to be bigger. I found that it wouldn't slide on to a very thin branch that I had been using before. Thankfully this was easily rectified by removing the hanging loop off the other bottle neck type one that I had and attaching to this one. Has stayed in position even during strong winds and the birds are using it regularly.Much more hygienic for the birds and saves me so much time now keeping it clean. Would highly recommend.

It's a shame this water feeder is useless. I've had two now. Each had the same problem. The hanging loop is not attached well to the bottle part, and it simply breaks off. The rest of the water feeder seems decent enough but if the hanging loop keeps snapping off then it's not fit for purpose. The first arrived with the hanging loop broken. The second lasted about a week before it snapped off. Save your money and don't buy this very poor product.

There is a knack to putting the tray on, fill bottle to top, place bottom on top of bottle and lock in place, then turn upside down as fast as possible, I’m still waiting for the birds to use it!
