Great keyboard with Gateron Red switches. Bought used. Never once felt the difference. The abs keycaps feels and sound great and the linear feedback is just what I was looking for. The layout is a perfect middle ground for users who are looking for compact keyboard with a numpad just like a 100% layout.Having used the keyboard for over a month now, the keyboard has always felt great to type on. I would suggest you go for it at around 70-80$, It is good value for the price.Only downside being the legends as they do not pass much light through them. It does not support QMK customization. But, never felt that it was missing and most key assignments can be done using other in built softwares/ applications.

I had another Keychron keyboard that shorted out thanks to an unfortunate water cup incident.. I couldn't find that exact keyboard anymore so I got this one and it works great! The RGB options are nice, it's a perfect size for anyone who wants all the keys but a slightly more compact board, it's got a nice weight to it and is sturdy on my desk. Very easy setup literally plug and play. You can connect it via bluetooth or usb-c and both work very well. The battery life seems to be at least a day or two but I mostly use it with the usb so I'm not sure how long it really lasts but the connection is very stable, I don't notice any latency. Very good and high quality board especially for under $100!

I’m a mechanical keyboard enthusiast, and have several, but was often recommended to grab a Keychron to add to my collection. I am currently using this model, the K4 Bluetooth with blue Gateron switches and RGB backlighting, to write this review on my phone.Of all the keyboards I own, this is my new favorite and the one I now use the most.I have owned a Dierya 60% Bluetooth (my least favorite, ? key in a weird placement), got a Royal Kludge full-size 104-key Bluetooth with white backlight (good, just bulky), and have a Royal Kludge 60% that has been my go-to for a simple portable writing keyboard.Once I got this Keychron, it pretty much replaced my RK 60% for both personal use and for work.As I typed this, the battery died, but that’s only because I use it constantly, and like to turn on the RGB backlighting for a little razzle dazzle when I’m sitting to write enjoyable. Only takes a few minutes to recharge, not long for a full recharge. It could last a week or more of constant use, without the backlighting, and several days with RGB backlighting. You can also charge it with the cable on a laptop while using it via Bluetooth on another device, which is nice.The aluminum frame is awesome, I’ve accidentally dropped it a couple of times, got the slightest scratch, and still works like a champ. It’s the keyboard equivalent of one of those old Nextel yellow brick phones, ha.Lightweight enough to throw into a backpack, quick Bluetooth connection, easy to set up and use, and definitely worth the money. I got it used, like new here on Amazon, was probably a return, and I’ve had zero problems with it. Even at full price, a worthwhile investment. The full number pad is what I wanted for my desktop trading and for inputting grades at my teaching gig. By far the best recommendation I got, and I definitely recommend it to other mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.Comes with a very professional-looking layout, but easy to customize if you dig fun color keycaps. If you spend a little extra to get the fully hot-swappable one, the switches are also easy to replace so the keyboard lasts for a long time. I’m super happy with my investment, and now use this keyboard on the daily for work and personal use.

I'm EXTREMELY picky about keyboards. I have more than 50 of them. I know.. it's an obsession. I travel and I type alot. My needs for this keyboard, particularly, is that I wanted a keyboard compact enough to be able to slide in my backpack but still have mechanical keys and a number pad, which is essential for what I do. I also wanted to have bluetooth, or at least a detachable cord most keyboards have a permanently attached cord making it cumbersome to travel with.In order to pack all those features in one keyboard, I realized that concessions had to be made, but I didn't want any concessions to impact my ability to TYPE. Meaning, I needed a full sized keyboard and high quality keys.This is really the first keyboard that met all my requirements in a keboard. Full size with number pad, yet compact. Bluetooth with removable chord and quality build and keystrokes.So... what did I have to give up?First, I had to concede to a thicker keyboard. In order to accommodate a backlit and bluetooth mechanical keyboard, the manufacturer needed to add some weight and thickness to amp up the battery to give it the juice to perform. This affects its compactness to a degree as well as typing comfort for some, albeit for me it doesn't impact my comfort or ability to type.Second, I had to concede to a keyboard that goes to sleep after a few minutes and I have to be patient while it wakes back up, as well as deal with some occasional Bluetooth lag.Third, I had to concede cursor keys (Which I rarely use anyway) that are a little tight and a "0" on the number-pad downsized to a regular key instead of an oversized thumb key.Fourth, I had to pay $104 for all those features.So... I'm pretty happy about my purchase, but here is what I think (at least for me) would make this a better keyboard.1. I would either make the keyboard sleep user-defined through an app, or I would scrap Bluetooth altogether. By far, my biggest complaint is how quickly this keyboard sleeps. I have a business and I am reviewing invoices and documents and then entering and updating information as needed. 90% of the time, when I'm ready to engage my keyboard, it has gone to sleep. It's not worth it. This needs to be user definable based on need, or simply done away with. It isn't usable in its current state. As such, I always leave it plugged in when I work. I DO love the fact that it uses a detachable USB-C which makes it easy to connect to my laptop for power and data.2. If Bluetooth is scrapped, I would build a really slimline version of this. Take out the battery, remove the Bluetooth and skinny this keyboard up by a half inch or more by adding half-depth keys. That would be an extremely comfortable keyboard, light and compact, while only sacrificing Bluetooth, which really doesn't work effectively anyway.3. I would bring back the big 0 thumbkey on the number pad. I'll be honest, I'm not sure how to accomplish this; maybe lose the "control" button and build that function in elsewhere, maybe. But for people who need a tenkey, we NEED a tenkey. We are entering data, and to constantly look at the keyboard to make sure I'm hitting a diminutive "0" key (the most commonly pressed key in data entry), it's too distracting.If the company make bluetooth sleep function user-selectable and remapped the keys to accommodate a bigger 0 numpad key, I would be very happy. ORIf the company made a model that scrapped Bluetooth altogether, and made this a really slim beast by removing the battery and building half-high keys, AND remapped the numkey (see above) I would be equally blissfully happy. In fact I would probably buy them both and give them both 5 star reviews.Aside from those issues, for a compact keyboard with mechanical keys and a number pad, this keyboard really delivers.

I've been using the Keychron K4 with Brown switches for several months now, and it's honestly been one of the best investments in my workspace. This keyboard strikes a perfect balance between functionality, aesthetics, and typing experience.
