The taste is okay, nothing special, but certainly not ceremonial grade. I tend to have two matchas on the go at any one time - one high grade for when I have the time to prepare it properly using a bamboo chasen in a chawan, and a lower grade for when I’m short of time that I prepare using a electric whisk. Unfortunately, this matcha will be relegated to the latter occasion. It does not dissolve well and leaves a residue on the sides and bottom of the bowl. When preparing it with a chasen I always sieve it into the bowl first, but even that doesn’t stop the residue and clumps from forming once the hot water has been added. In fact, when pushing it through the sieve there’s a fair bit of resistance and some of the matcha seems to have formed itself into tiny balls as though there is moisture present. I’ve been preparing matcha the traditional way for a few years now and have have tried several products from Amazon, but sadly I will not buy this again. I had bought it once before could not remember why I hadn’t reordered it - now I know. If you want a quick shot of matcha for the health benefits, or for a recipe, then you could do worse than this.However, if you like a nice tasting matcha that doesn’t leave a gritty residue of undissolved matcha in your mouth then personally I wouldn’t buy this.

I’ve been buying this matcha for a while now, I have one matcha a day and need a new tin every 2 weeks. It’s not sustainable but they don’t seem to stock these any bigger than 30g (anywhere). So I’ve decided to buy elsewhere, other brands have 80g, 100g, even 300g.

Have tried many matcha products , this is one of the better ones, nice dark green tea not lumpy blends well with smoothies and appears to tolerate hot water straight from kettle, no waiting around for 75-80 temp! Price is about right for this premium product ,stores well in fridge in tin. Will probably purchase again.

Having tried a few Brands in the Past, I recently spotted this as a new item. The product looked premium and up-market compared to other competitors listed on Amazon and so I decided to give it a try - and Wow. The Matcha mixes extremely well and tastes fantastic "Hot" or "Cold". It's smooth, the sweetness is nicely-balanced and light.I will definitely be purchasing this product again.

It's been great introducing this into my daily routine, with all of the health benefits that it provides. I've been drinking it and also used the recipes to baked delicious treats with it. The whole family also love it and can't wait to order more, as we're getting through it so quickly!

This matcha green tea is smooth and creamy and mixes incredibly well. I’ve found that it foams really well too.It has a vibrant green colour and a more enjoyable taste compared to other brands I have tried.This is now my daily morning drink.. I cannot recommend this product highly enough!

Have never tried matcha before, but had been recommended to try by a friend. I found this one as it said it was organic and vegan, and I am pleasantly surprised! It was a nice smooth texture and a great rich green colour. Will be purchasing again.

Amazing quality matcha! I love that it’s organic which for me was a real point of differentiation! Tastes light and creamy with a hint of sweetness. I am a total convert! A nice touch was the recipe book that the seller sent after the purchase. Would recommend.
