I purchased 2 of these sets, one for myself (psoriatic arthritis) and one for my 89 year old grandmother who has arthritis in her hands. I do like the various sizes of the tools and the can/pop tab opener is very handy as well. I am really only giving it 4 stars because the large tool is a little cumbersome to hold on to and open a lid, my grandmother is 5 feet tall and only 80 lbs., she is a small person. I am not certain her hands will be able to hold onto this and turn it at the same time. I gave it to her yesterday, time will tell. She needs help opening milk jugs mostly. One of the tools can be used to tear off safety seals. I use this on the milk jugs and it has worked every time. I have also used the bag opener to slice open a couple bags, this tool also worked well. My biggest challenge by far is opening water bottles. The only tool that opens the bottles I buy most (Pur Aqua from Aldi) is the largest tool in the kit. This is fine, except it does not fit well in my lunchbox. I would like one a little more portable. The smaller tool does work on the Ice Mountain water bottles.

I was having trouble opening so many of those bottle caps as they are so tight or the energy drink bottle caps are so difficult to unscrew.I purchased this and I am in heaven. I love it. I would not hesitate in recommending this to a friend or gifting it and if you’re a senior it’s even better. It’s easy to use and it makes any type of jar or bottle opening so easy you don’t have to strain at all by it you won’t be sorry

I purchased this because I had already had one of the smaller bottle openers......the one you don't squeeze and fits perfectly on water bottle caps.....and have loved it, but after years it was showing a little wear. When I saw this set I thought how perfect it would be to open jar lids and bottles caps that don't fit in the other opener. To my DISAPPOINTMENT the other openers require SQUEEZING the handles together to grasp the lids snuggly enough to turn them. Due to a CMC joint/arthritis issue with my thumb, I can't squeeze things, which is why I needed these tools. To be honest they don't help......it's just as difficult whether I use them or not. It takes a lot of strength to squeeze them together enough to open a jar. But the smaller one that you don't have to squeeze is perfect for opening water bottles and other bottles with that size cap and I can easily use that. I wouldn't recommend this set and gave it two stars because I can at least use the one opener.

I got this for my Mom, who is 93, and she LOVES it. I just ordered this set for myself. I'm 71 and just starting to have issues opening items but I'm on top of it with this set! I highly recommend it for anyone who struggles to open bottles and jars and a variety of other items.

Multiple containers are now accessible thanks to this set. Even helps open 1/2 gallon paper cartons, sort lids and pull the pesky rings.

As an elderly woman, I have trouble with arthritis in my hands. Always have trouble opening up bottles and jars. This set of openers was perfect. It helps me greatly. Everybody, young or old, should get this set.

I bought this for my mother who has difficulties using her hands do to arthritis. I saw her using a dollar store type thing to grip everything to open it & felt real bad. Then GOD behold, I ran across this set that came with 4 different types of opening devices to help her with ALL her needs. Now I'm very, very happy knowing my mother can have her independence back in which in return is a WINNER with me. I'm even thinking about purchasing one for me to make my life easier too! A must buy for all! Thank you so very much!

This collection takes up way too much room in the drawer for utensils that I hardly ever use. The most useful part is the circular piece of soft plastic that is helpful in opening jars. The circumference of the largest opening isn't big enough to open jar of salsa and the plastic gripper mechanism is too soft to grip the largest jars especially with arthritic hands. It's passable for smaller jars and bottles that don't need so much pressure. I haven't yet found a use for the figure 8 utensil.

It did not help with bigger jars, and I mean 4 inches
