OSTENT Wired Classic Controller Pro Gamepad Joystick for Nintendo Wii Remote Console Video Game Color White

The product doesn’t work with my platform (Nintendo Wii). There’s no activity or response when connected to the Wii controller.I bought two- and both controllers have the same issue.

Plugs into the wii remote and works great! My 7 year old was excited to use this controller for n64 Mario on the original wii system.

I tried for 2 hours on my wii, trying every game I had that can use a classic controller from black ops 1 zombies to mortal kombat armageddon. Got a refund. Brought the actual Wii official classic pro controller, that one work the moment I plug it in. Do not buy this at all. Waste of time and waste of money

I was worried due to how cheap it was, but it has performed well with no real issues. The printing behind one of the clear buttons (The a) was scratched up when it arrived. After a month of use, part of the wire covering right up against part that plugs into the wii remote started tearing, so I'll have to use some electrical tape or something on it, it's not a big deal though (I did use it pretty excessively)Whether or not you need one is a different matter. The classic controller isn't supported by a lot of wii games, being made mainly for stuff on the discontinued wii shop channel, so if you bought a bunch of stuff on there before it's shutdown, you'll be able to get some use for it. Out of the almost 30 wii games I own, only 4 support this controller. (SSBB, MKWii, & movie tie-in games for The Amazing Spider-Man and GI-Joe: the Rise of Cobra)If you have softmodded (hacked) your Wii like me, then it is well worth getting one of these. (You really should, there's a lot you can do with it) A lot of homebrew applications support it, and there are mods that you can install through Riivolution that remove motion controls from many Wii games, letting you play with this controller. Some more well known mods even support it when their base games don't. (Newer super mario bros. Wii & AC:City Folk deluxe are 2 examples)Point is, if you don't know what this is, do your research 1st to make it sure it can do what you want it to. And this uses the pro design, which has the better joystick spacing over the 1st classic controller.

Completely garbage. I will usually give the company 2 items before I leave a review. If the first one is junk I'll just start a return like it was a dud. But I ordered one it didn't work on my wii at all. Then I returned it for another one. It did not work at all either. Maybe im missing something or maybe their just junk. Any other wii classic controller works just not these.

For the price, it is a functional and fine controller. Had to have original shipment replaced, but process of return was simple.
