Got less time, but still need to review EVERYTHING? Grab this book!
Still digging into this, but it seems to have pretty much everything you need to know for the test. Important computer knowledge that isn't on the test may be omitted, so this is good for prep, but maybe not the best reference book on the shelf. This is great to read for a review. It's big and long, but not ridiculously long, and has larger text than my Meyers book, so it's easy to read.

Thorough and easy to digest
I passed both tests on my first try thanks in large part to this book. This book really helped explain things in a manner that was easy to digest. A lot of the other A+ books I tried assumed I knew things that I didn't.I used this book combined with David Prowse's A+ Practice Questions to successfully pass both exams.

Lots of great material, a bit outdated
Passed my A+ with 796 (901) and 788 (902). This book helped a lot, and goes into quite geeky detail on many topics. However, I was disappointed about how it included a whole section on SCSI (which is not on the A+ Objectives), and its online tests were 801 and 802, and therefore, sort of worthless. Nevertheless, this book is well-organized in that it has the objectives listed in the back, and you can find what chapter to read to learn the objectives. There was an error on that, however, in that one objective (can't remember which) said to go to Xbook, Xchapter, and there was absolutely nothing written about the topic. Used this book with Meyers and Prowse's book. Good cross-coverage.

Perfect to take the A+ test
This is a relatively easy to understand book. It has all the good and necessary info needed to take the test to become A+ certified. It breaks it down and has signals for what info is most important. Definitely recommend.

Very helpful!
This was a huge help with passing the exam, I failed part 1 by just a couple of questions on the first try. I felt much more prepared after going through this book for the 2nd attempt and got an 88%. Very helpful book!

This book was the best so far
I have been using different sources such as youtube, the official A+ book, and free training website. This book was the best so far. The lectures were clear and easy to understand. There were graphics to show the thousands parts of the computer, which I found out very helpful.

Don't buy this out-dated book
Or go ahead and buy it if you just want to learn about computers and not planning to take the tests. But this book is written for the 901/901 tests which have now been replaced. If you're looking to get certified, you'll be taking the 1001/1002 tests so you'll want a book that's up to date as well.

Great Investment!
Thank you to the authors, Glen, Ed and Timothy for putting this together. Yes there were a few typos but not enough to take away from the subject matter. I passed my 220-901 & 220-902 today. I used this book primarily along with Total Seminars videos and practice tests. Great investment!
