Better than original
The original wheels fall off the carriage and the carriage falls off the basket. These look like they will work much better.

They rust
The product would be great if they hadn’t use steel washers which rusted after the first use locking the wheels up. They get an A for effort and a D for design.

2 of the 4 were broken!
2 of the 4 of these were broken, looked like they were used and someone broke them trying to install them. NOT HAPPY!! Amazon will not send a replacement unless I send these back, and I installed the 2 good ones. Poor overall!UPDATE: It has been exactly 3 months, the 2 I installed are now rusted and will not turn, complete garbage! Not an upgrade, the originals lasted 8 years.

Buy the cheaper plastic parts. The metal washers have rusted in just a few uses.
When I went looking to replace the wheels on the lower rack of my dishwasher I went for the more expensive metal parts instead of the plastic parts. We have had this dishwasher for a while and several of the plastic parts that hold the wheels to the upper rack and the lower rack have disintegrated. I have replaced all those parts for the upper rack and now needed to replace them for the lower rack. I had the choice to buy all plastic replacement parts or spend more money to have the wheels attached by metal screws/bearings. Today, after only a couple of weeks and runs of the dishwasher one of the new wheels fell off because the metal bolt came unscrewed. I'm lucky that my family knows if they find loose hardware on the floor to save them and ask me if they are important, otherwise they might have been thrown out or lost. The washer that helps to hold the wheel on is already rusty. If this is made out of stainless steel it is a cheap grade of SS. If it isn't SS then why not. I wonder what it will look like in one, two, three years. The new wheels don't roll as easily as the original parts so the lower rack takes more effort to push into the dishwasher. After looking at the original parts and the new replacement parts, all I really needed was the bolt, nut, and washer to reattach the original wheels to their chassis. Why did I need to spend $20.00 for new plastic chassis when $8.00 of hardware is all I needed. Find a SS pan head machine bolt, the correct SS washer, and a SS nylon lock nut and fix it yourself for a lot less.UPDATE 4/19/20 - ANOTHER WHEEL HAS FALLEN OFF AND THE WASHER IS RUSTING. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
