Sweet balance between serious and fun
This phone lens is most definitely worth the money. It is compact and universal. It works from the get-go, does not need adjustment, and holds tight to the smartphone. It has been ideal for bringing over nature trips to observe little critters with my kids. It is also helpful for a beginner collector like me to uncover the truth behind my favorite coin. Combined with my Moto G Power 2012, the lens allows me to take reliable pictures of excellent quality at different resolutions.

No where close to what it shows
I have already returned this item within 2 days of getting it. So I did not take a pictures. Sorry. The image they show is correct. My review may sound negative but I am just being honest.I ordered 2 of them (1 for me and 1 for my wife). I played with mine for 2 hours attempting to line it up and see the magnification. Here is my 2 cents...1. It does not lock into place on the IPhone.2. It has to sit just perfectly to get it to "line up"3. When you can see an image....if you move....it moves too so you lose the image.4. I found it frustrating to use and only got a clear image 3 times but it lasted seconds each time. For the price they were asking for this device....I expected more.It was not functionableNo locking mechanismMoves around too easilySliding the the device up and down...just not a way to use itl Nothing like the pictures or videos. They need to go back to the drawing board on this item. The worst part is that I am a Tech Geek and I had issues!! No thanks. They did ship it on time and It arrived but just not worth it.

Great microscopic attachment to your iPhone camera
It’s cool to have this lens so I can capture magnified images of various objects. To get sharp images it requires some practice to find the right distance between iPhone camera and objects. The LED light button can be improved. It does great job with the value. It comes with a charger for the LED light, a storage bag and instruction. I took images of table salts and a plant leaf. I was impressed how the images turned out. The lens attachment is small so that I can keep it in my purse.

Takes some practice but neat
This easily attaches to my i-phone 13 and takes neat photos, but you basically have to touch the item you are photographing. If you have a newer version phone, you get better photos and a larger viewing area. With my i-phone, it creates a darker circle around the item and it's sometimes hard to get a clear photo. But on an upgraded phone, it wasn't as bad. I have taken some neat photos. Good for microscopic or super tiny items.

It works but not exactly as advertised
Figured how to basically use it and at 80 that is impressive but it does not add up to my anticipation of usage. Unless there is more to it's function I may have to return it.

If you like extreme close-up photography on your phone, this is what you want!
This is a new twist on phone photography. Using a clip that places the "microscope" over the camera lens, it provides massive magnification. You simply place the "microscope" over your phone camera lens and then place that directly on your subject. What makes this very special is the ring light around the microscope assuring both even light and 2 different intensities. I found that the lower intensity was enough. It is best used when you can place the subject on a flat surface so that the plane is also flat for full sharp focus. It also works best on completely stationary subjects. Motion is greatly magnified when you are that close.I used this on my 1x magnification lens of my iPhone 12 Pro, but it is clearly designed to be used on any phone on the market. It would be a very good idea to have a screen protector on the phone. The clip that holds the "microscope" in place will go over your screen, and to make it stable it is very tight.I did not try this on any slides, but I could see how it would work very well!I tested it on my blue jeans, my finger, some small plants, a rust spot on a handrail, a leaf, a US quarter and a stamp.Let your imagination go and have a ball!

Not very effective
narrow view of what you're shooting. Poor design for attaching to your camera. I dont recommend.

It works but what a struggle to use it
Just too much effort to use and not functional enough. I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max – extremely difficult to use this microscope and get the image to be not cropped by the misalignment. I tried this on several occasions and never managed to get it fixed (as you can see from my samples images – the black blob is the plastic of the microscope interfering with the iPhone lens). You also have to fiddle with the macro settings (there's instruction) and turn the auto flash off to take a picture. It's also quite limited. You can only use it effectively by placing the camera lens perfectly flat on a reasonably flat surface. It just doesn't do anything if you want to hover even an inch above something. There's very little intuitive about this, and if I could return it I would. (But I waited too long.)
