A great space-saving washer/dryer!
This washer/dryer combo works great in my opinion. You can load your laundry, hit 'wash and dry' and come back several hours later to your laundry ready to fold. It's well-made and does it's job well for what it's designed to do.To be sure, it is a condensing dryer, which does work more slowly than a traditional dryer. If you're expecting to run 5 loads of laundry in an afternoon, this washer/dryer is not for you. A lot of the negative reviews seem focused on it taking a long time per load, and not producing bone-dry laundry at the end. This seems to miss the point. You get this unit if you want to save space, and you want to run one load at a time to completion. Personally, I really love being able to start a load before I go to work in the morning, and come home to dry laundry.

Worst Product Ever
This product does work as it states it should. I have tried to use twice, first time 8 items using the washer/dryer setting. Took over 2 hours and never dried the clothes. Second time 5 small items wash cycle took 59 minutes. Used the only cycle took 2 hours and it did not dry the clothes at all.

You Have to Be a Bit Stategic
I’m into my 2nd day using this. First thing…mine didn’t come with hoses, it came as pictured. Second thing, you have to take the 4 shipping bolts off of the back and the tool was provided (it was inside the machine). If you don’t take these off the machine will shake noisily. Third thing..:.download LGThinQ app and get that popping on your phone/iPad so you can track how much time is left before your wash is done. Now…I haven’t sat down and officially read the instructions yet, however I’m a basic wash girl. Separate colors/ types of clothing and wash in cold water. Here’s where you have to be patient and literally compartmentalize….You are going to use detergent that has the letters “he” on the bottle/packaging. Energy efficient so you don’t even need a full cup washing clothes. This baby suds up very nicely with half/just under a half cup. Quick wash is just that. Thirty minutes and you’re done. I washed 3 loads with that (pet blankets) and hung those on my railing. Items that dry quickly I would just allow to air dry. The wash/dry cycle? Straight 2.5 hours. I did my first load of people clothes (after wiping out the machine after washing my dogs stuff, I’m neurotic) on the wash/dry cycle. The load was thermals, socks, undergarments, pajamas. Dry with no issues. After the wash/dry cycle finishes the unit cools down and the door stays locked until it’s cooled down so don’t go yanking on the door before the unit shuts off completely. This unit is good if you want the option of drying your clothes but aren’t hard pressed to dry your clothes ALL the time. You can easily hang your clothes outside (if accessible) or have a decent drying rack. I have a huge backyard and a decent drying rack. You’re going to have to break your clothes down in a fashion that will enable them to dry completely if you use the dryer. With jeans and hoodies, be prepared for them to come out damp but can throw them on a hanger and let them air dry which won’t take all day.The noise? Not bad. Super quiet washing. A bit noisy spinning but not a deal breaker at all. Minimal shaking. I have hardwood floors and my unit it upstairs in a closet. I didn’t need to get “feet” for it to have it not shake. It’s not bouncing all over the place. It’s normal shaking to me when spinning. I’ll most likely get a rug to place underneath but am not sure.Good price for it. I think will last for a decent amount of time if not treated like an industrial unit.

Convenient
Did my home work on how this type of machine works. They have have used it in Europe and Switzerland. The science is great. This set my mindat ease about trying it. It is not a large washing machine. Maybe for a small family. It works great if you follow directions and not overload it. The two things I like it's ventless and I can start a load go do a project come back and it's clean and dry. Thanks

Hot is only dryer temp
Even with the ThinQ app there's no way to change the dryer temp from HOT to anything else. What a horrible way to dry clothes that shouldn't be dried on hot. Only towels!

The dry time is unacceptable
I didn’t realize when I purchased this that a wash and dry cycle would take at least 4 hours to complete. I knew the drying time would be longer but seriously, 3 hours for sheets!? In my opinion, that’s too long for a set of sheets. The washer part works great. The drying time is not acceptable.
