Set of 2 J Bar Kayak Roof Racks Adjustable w/Easy Install

Very sturdy. Easy to install. Like that’s it has much thicker padding than many of the others.

I purchased 2 sets of these products last February (2018). I used it that summer and this summer (2019). One set was for my son's kayak, a 40 lbs lifetime tamarack from Walmart. That set of racks are fine.The other set was for my Kayak, a BKC RA220 model. It's heavier than the lifetime, it weighs 68 lbs. I didn't have any attachment on it. The racks I used for those appeared to be rocked loose by this kayak. The plate that holds the rack to the roof rack bent outwards so that it was unable to keep the kayak rack tight to the roof rack.It lasted for two seasons. Not bad for 40 dollars.

If i could give these a negative star i would. Absolute trash. Do yourselves a favor and just pass these right up. 2 pairs ordered. 2 pairs of junk.

I have only used mine 2 times and I can't get it off due to the bolt and screws are stuck. When you turn the bolt it turns the screw and won't unscrew.

I like this product because it seems more sturdy by design. It has four screws per rack instead of just two that the other brands all seem to have. I recently bought my kayak, out of season, so I haven't had it on the car except to bring it home from the store. Like other reviewers, I will use sturdier tie downs(straps) for peace of mind because I like to travel off road. I can hardly wait for spring so I can enjoy the great outdoors in my new yak.

Super easy to install, worked perfect for our kayaks!I can't attest to the holding ability of the included straps as we used our own.Model info: 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee stock roof rack (to the best of my knowledge)

Nice product, but do not fit factory crossbars. Nut extends to far under bar, hitting roof.

Fastened kayak very securely and kayak fell off and dented my roof. What is the load rating for these again? I don’t remember
