Although A New Earth and Power of Now are the most popular, Stillness Speaks is my favorite of his work. Take this book hiking, camping, or for meditation! I really love this book. It's one of Eckhart Tolle's best, in my opinion. I especially like the Walker Larger Print format. I've been having eye problems, and this is so easy to read. Another advantage of the large print is that it's easier to find the parts I marked that I want to return to. It's so easy to use like a study guide, and to have room to write in the margins, etc. I have shared this book with several friends, so it's been like our own little book club. Whether you read the regular format of the book or the large print, it is a very satisfying book to read and to return to again and again.

I was looking for more words by this author after finishing The Power of Now and A New Earth. Both of those books were very rewarding. I read them over a long period of time and I found them to be inspirational. So I bought this work, even though it was written in between those two. It is not as good as the other two but it is still serving its purpose as a kind of continuing inspiration. So my advice would be to be sure you read the other two before this one.

Of course the book is fabulous. No doubt about that. You don't need me to tell you.However, I've received many books from amazon that were damaged in transit. This book was not one of them. The care that went into packing this book so it would arrive undamaged was amazing.Thank you!

Wow!! This book is amazing. My best advice it to read the introduction! (I'm one who's typically bad about just jumping in to a book and not reading the intro.) This is not a book that you read from cover-to-cover and put down again. Rather, it's a book that you'd pick up; read a passage; then think about what he's saying. It's not a book that gives you solutions. The solutions come to you as you read and think about what you've read. It has reached me on a very deep level and given me a sense of peace. I have been able to put down all of my facades and truly connect with and love my true self. I've also connected with my boyfriend on a deeper level. Life is so much more amazing when you live in the Now.

This book has changed my perspective and my life as I began to incorporate the principles and truths into my everyday life. Some days I could only sit with one paragraph. Other days, I would read until my spirit was content and my ego was silenced. This book really makes you think about what you think about.

Here is the Secret; in a nutshell: Quiet the mind. Accept what is. You've seen my name on the reviews of several spiritual books. I rate a lot of them highly. What is most delightful is that there is a book for everyone. As Eckhart Tolle writes elsewhere - there are an infinite number of portals to presence. If "Stillness Speaks" doesn't speak to you - no problem, there are so many others to choose from. What distinguishes Eckhart Tolle's writing is the purity of the message. No religion, no metaphysics...just this moment, right here, right now. What could be simpler? What I have found is that indeed the message is very simple - it is not easy. So then can I accept that?
