Just to note, I did receive three notebooks. When ordering, make sure that the product is fulfilled by Amazon. This ensures you would get three instead of one! Though this is my first time ordering Rite in the Rain notebooks, and they're fantastic! I use ultra-fine Sharpies to right in them. The paper is actually archival just to put in mind! These notebooks feel durable, and I have no doubt that these notebooks would last a long time. These notebooks exceeded my needs! I was actually thinking of the getting the Field Notes expedition, but they didn't have them lined but only in bullet points. So I went this this instead. I'm pretty sure these are more durable than the Field Notes Expedition in terms of the cover. I've read how the Field Note Expedition covers wear out. But with this, I don't feel that would happen at all.I've handled this with wet hands, and it repelled the moisture! It was very easy and smooth to right on with an Ultra Fine Sharpie. I have not used other pens or markers on it. I feel that next time, I would use permanent archival inks with this the next time I buy more Rite in the Rain notebooks. Rite in the Rain is now my go-to for waterproof and durable notebooks.

I work as an engineer on a supply boat. This book is great for jotting down notes especially when your working on deck in not the driest conditions. I use a ball point pen Ihave between the pages and haven’thad any issues writing my notes.The size of the book is perfectfitting in your back pocket with just enough hanging out so your notdigging around in your pocket trying to fish anything smaller out, not tomention when you sit down it form fits to your butt, doesn't feel likeyou have a block of wood in your back pocket.The reason for 4’s in durability and value is I haven’t written anythingon the pages in a gale where the pages were soaked so I don’t know how the pages would hold up, and we all like products a little cheaper!Besides that, these journals work for me, I’d buy them again.

Bought these WIR books for my parks on the air qso logging. They work great.

Love these things! Fits perfectly in the back pocket of my jeans so i always have it when i need it.Ordered this 3 pack and only received 1. Sent an IM to Amazon they said no problem. Then sent me only 1 not 2. So i am still short 1. Very really do i have shipping issues with Amazon but this one has been a pain. I will likely order these again because I use them for work. I guess we will just have to see how the shipping quantity goes then.

These notebooks were highly recommended to me by a colleague, and they have stood up to my arguably high standards. As the name implies, you may use this notebook under very damp conditions without worry of the pages being ruined or loosing your text. I have personally only ever used pencils with this book, but the graphite is retained just fine without any issue. This is a great product for anyone working in a variety of weather conditions.

We have purchased these notebooks many times and will continue to do so. They hold up well in very rough conditions. Durable, compact, great value

Pros:Water-proof - This paper could get submerged in water and still be usable.Grid - I love the grid on the paper. It helps me organize input cleanly.Cons:Book binding - Ripping out pages doesn't work great.Book cover - Not particularly sturdy exterior.Closing thoughts:I use these books to keep track of sub-sheets while coaching in the rainy PNW. They have yet to fail me and work phenomenally for the price. I prefer to use pencil for writing on these.

Love these, fit perfectly in a dickies boiler suit top pocket and they last! I also used to use them underwater when I was diving. They do survive the washing machine and the tumble dryer as well, at least mine did at 40°c. They are worth it.

Awesome quality does exactly what it says and really durable.

We keep these on the sailboat at all times for jotting down maintenance items, job jar ideas, what to stock on our next trip, and so forth. We love that the pages hold up even when they get damp, and we always pair the books with the Rite-in-the-Rain pens. Now we also use them when tracking maintenance and chemical balancing in the pool. Great item!
