AUSTRALIAN ROASTED ORGANIC CAROB POWDER

I first tried a small package of this carob powder and went through it in a week. I loved it so much, I then ordered this bulk package, thinking it would last through the winter for hot "cocoa." That was just a few weeks ago, and I am now returning to buy more. Yes, I love it that much.I have been using carob powder off and on for over 40 years. I have had darker roasted and raw and everything in-between. This powder is the lightest roast I've ever had -- it is so pale in the package, I initially thought it was raw and mislabeled as roasted. The flavor is more subtle than any I have had in the past, also. The flavor isn't as strong as, for example, Chatfield's, but it has a gentler carob taste with hints of malt.The flavor seems to be more pronounced in baking, perhaps because one typically uses a lot more of the carob. A gluten free cake I made with this turned out incredibly delicious.I definitely would recommend this carob powder to those who must have or just prefer carob over cocoa for any reason.Added bonus: This comes directly from an Australian carob tree farm and is organic!(Getting ready to order another bag, now ... hope it lasts longer than a few weeks.)

Just buy it. And when it arrives, open the bag and inhale deeply.. your senses will be engulfed in an array of sweet, delicate, chocolate-like goodness. But it isn't chocolate. It is inherently a bit sweet, not bitter, with an almost fruity or even vanilla-like taste. It goes so well with my banana/date cookies (which is replete with almond butter, vanilla, oat flour, and this carob powder). Also delicious in oatmeal and smoothies. Highly recommend.

Love this!!! The people who said toys tastes gross are crazy. It is sweet, not bitter, and tastes like chocolate with a slightly different flavor. I used it to make chia pudding for my family and everyone loved it!! Maybe if you are hooked on artificial sweeteners or refined sugar you might not like it, but if you want to be healthy and still crave that chocolate taste, this is for you!

This is my absolute favorite carob powder. It has such a fresh, rich taste reminiscent of chocolate. I especially like that it mixes very well in liquid. Many carob powder is leaving gritty residue at the bottom of the bowl, and never seem to mix completely, but this one is really smooth. That has really improved the outcome of the recipes I'm using as well as an improvement in taste. this was my second purchase, and I would definitely buy it again.

Love this carob powder! It has a rich, smooth, clean flavor. Have tried others and this is my favorite! Mixes well with protein drink and rice milk, cows milk, coconut milk. Great for hot carob drinks! Delicious in baked recipes and candies. Oh, yes and for that extra special topping with vanilla ice cream!

Great carob. Tastes good, mixes well, not messy. Excellent bargain and good for our bodies. This is a good replacement for cocoa, since I like the variety.

I love the flavor this product gives my smoothies since I love chocolate but my intestines do not like cocoa or cocao. The flavor is light and the health benefits are great.

I bought this for my two granddaughters. Because of the caffeine in chocolate I thought this would be a good alternative, sadly they did not like it enough to drink it. Tried putting it in vanilla almond milk no sugar and used Stevia to sweeten. They did not like it . My husband cannot have caffeine because of high blood pressure, he said he would drink it if I put regular milk in it and said it did not taste too bad. It was expensive for a trial run.
