I get very hot in the summer despite constant air conditioning. I was shopping for a neck fan but decided to take a chance on this device. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it's been amazing. It does not have a built-in battery (it does come with a power bank), which makes it less portable but means that you can plug it in with a USB-C phone charger and run it for as long as you want without dealing with the battery dying. It actually gets cold to the touch, unlike a fan, which just moves air around and makes you feel cooler. In addition to wearing it around your neck it also fits nicely around your forehead, and is incredible when you have a headache - it's basically an ice pack that never warms up. After you wear it for a while it will feel like it's not working anymore, but in reality it actually makes your skin so cold that you can't *feel* the cold anymore; at that point it's a good idea to move it to a different spot.

Doesnt even turn on. Wayy too small. Does not fit around neck. What a waste of 50 bucks. I couldve fed my kids with that money or took them somewhere fun. Would literally rather spend 50 bucks any other way than spending it on this again. Shouldve threw my money down the gutter instead. Atleast that way i wouldnt feel disappointment or anger. The packaging literally says”no built in battery, cannot be charged” but offers no place to plug in batteries!!! Comes with this weird battery pack looking thing and that still doesnt turn the damn thing on. Charged the battery pack and all. Think i have a defective product. But still even if it did work, you would have to keep the battery pack plugged into the neck fan. Who wants to walk around with a cored sticking out the back of their neck?!?! NO ONE. it looks so tacky and cheap. And i sadly waited to long to return this pos. Looks like i payed 50 bucks for a 10k maH battery pack charger. Oh well…

I opened the package and first thought was that is was made of cheap plastic. Charged the power pack, turned on the system itself, and put it on my neck. Wow! It was cold, then that was it. Over, no power will not turn back on. Sending it back now. Worked all of about 3 seconds. Going with a different brand. Seemed like a good deal, and worth taking a risk for the price point. Changed my rating based on the company's response, and their willingness to help.

This is my second Cooling device. The first only had fans on the front and a thermoelectric plate on the back of the neck. I find that this one works better. It has a fairly large, about cell phone sized battery, because it requires more electricity. The battery conveniently fits in your pocket. The battery is probably good for 3 hours of cooling on the high setting but I regularly recharge after aboit 2 hours. The device has some weight but that isn't noticeable when it is around your neck. The device adjusts to fit different neck sizes and fits well. The big question is how effective is it. I know the plates get cold and it must work because the plates sit on the arteries going to your brain but it it's effects are limited. Nonetheless, I find it useful during my 2 mile daily walk in the south Florida summer.

Instant cooler is an effective and efficient cooling device to cool and cool the neck when the weather is hot, I often do work so I have to minimize noise to be able to concentrate, besides being instant and easy to carry, this product is also low in noise, there are two weak and strong modes so that users can adjust according to the user's taste, which makes I feel safe is that there is no fan channel that can explode, and when attached to the neck it doesn't hurt because of the light weight, with this product I am very helpful because I have become more focused and calm in doing my job, therefore I really like this product because I feel comfortable, cool, and safe

I've only had it a few days, but I already love this thing! It's a life saver for me.I have Solar Urticaria, sunlight starts killing me within 45 seconds of hitting my skin through cloud, glass, and thin cloth. I must wear multiple layers of thick cloth and live in the Midwest, it is 102 degrees outside today, before adding in the heat index.The cooler works well, low setting is great for use indoors with direct skin contact. The included battery bank ran it on low continuously for 4.5 hours, so battery life seems excellent on this setting. Additional battery banks can be carried.High is a bit too cold indoors with direct skin contact, but it works well thru my sun hoodie cloth. High is also good when outdoors with direct skin contact too, as long as the temp outside is high enough. I've not used it long enough to get an idea of how long a full charge will last on this setting.The device does not have a built-in battery, you must use an external power supply like a wall charger or a battery bank. The battery bank it comes with can be charged via USB type-c or micro USB, it has both which is very nice! The battery bank also has two USB type A "out" connectors, for plugging in various charging cables/devices. The neck cooler requires a USB type-c connection, so the entire package is USB type-c friendly.Unfortunately the fans installed in the thing are cheap garbage, on the third use one sounds like it has gravel in it. It "warmed up" and the sound went away after a few minutes but it only had like 5 hours of use and the sound was worse on the next use. You can hear the fans struggle as you more and turn too.If only they'd budgeted a few extra dollars for good fans, I'd pay a little extra for one that lasts...
