USER TIPS TO AVOID SNAGGING: 1) Pull ends and bead AWAY from hair/scalp prior to tightening (see puff demo in video). 2) Adjust when band is stretched. This shrinks the cushions allowing the bead to move more freely. When cushions are fully expanded, it’s much more difficult to move the bead and increases the likelihood for hair to get caught. 3) Once the band is in position (prior to tightening), hold bead firmly from inside the loop and pull ends outward. The trick is to block the entry point where hair can get caught. 4) Avoid pulling the ends in opposite directions as this can cause hair to get caught. 5) Avoid rolling the bands up on your head as hairs can also be rolled into the band as well.

Very comfortable! I recommended this!
So far so good! You do need to practice some before using & walking right out the door. I read the reviews & then the directions for use a few times. A string or two of my hair got a little caught. Not exactly sure how that happened. I'm guessing, once I had it adjusted where I wanted it (tight enough), as I tucked the loose strings, the BunzeeBand relaxed a little. Possibly pulling - because of its grip, pulling into the bead. It was minor & very easy to gently break the BunzeeBand's grip of my hair without breaking my hair. I was able to smooth that section back out without restarting the whole process. Two important factors you should note!1) Completely follow directions for exactly how to use this Band.2) If you notice hair caught in bead, Don't Panic! You can make it worse if you panic.Otherwise, it was very comfortable to wear & it held my hair nicely. I will be buying more. I recommend this product!

FABULOUS! Finally something my 6 yr old can do on her own.
My beautiful natural haired 6 year old has decided lately that SHE wants to do her hair. Since we are schooling virtually for now and can't go get her hair braided, I figured why not? NOT. After cutting out multiple ponys I decided we need to find another answer. This BunzeeBand is definitely the answer! She can use this by herself without getting it tangled and better yet can take it out as well. This band has given her the independence to decide what to do with her hair. She can add snap beads to the band or her hair, add a bow or put a headband on. What she really likes is how she can do it just as a band or a high puff!A lot less tears, a lot less arguing and less rushing in our morning routine!

DOES pull coils hair
I purchased these because the description and instructions say they won’t pull or snag your coils. I followed the instructions perfectly and it still absolutely gets tangled in curly/coiled hair textures. The lumpy design allows for your stands to get wrapped up and pulled no matter how careful you are putting it on or taking it off. They may have worked better without the “lumpy” design.

Horrible! Worse than a simple ponytail holder
These did not hold my hair at all; they slide right off...AND no matter how I tried, at least a few strands of my hair got painfully yanked by that sliding bead.
