On the brightest setting, it lasted about four hours, so I'd recommend carrying spare AAA batteries for longer outings. I bought these for my daughters for an upcoming camping trip. When they arrived, I tried them out to see how they work and was surprisingly impressed. These are some of the best head lamps I have ever used. They are very bright and work well for walking in the yard at night. I can see that these head lamps will work well for our trip and are better than the ones that I bought for myself to use. I also like the red light for preserving night vision and the green light as well. I would recommend these headlamps to anyone that is looking for a headlamp for camping, backpacking, or even going into caves/caverns because of the brightness, clarity, and many other features I mentioned.

Bought these for my 3 year olds for our camping trips this summer. They fit perfectly and work great! There are a few different settings and the light is nice and bright. There is one big button on the top that changes the settings, easy for little hands to push. Hours of fun! Highly recommend.

I purchased these a few weeks ago to take camping with my son. We share astrophotography together and really needed some red headlamps. Considering these have the feature, and a memory mode they seemed worth taking a gamble on. They feel comfortable and fit adults fine, I was a bit hesitant as they said for "kids" until I read some other comments. The bands adjust a lot and I can't imagine anyone having too large of a head. Each lamp takes 3 AAA batteries, and after using them in cold temperatures for many hours I didn't notice any brightness loss. However we did primarily use solely the red light, so take that with a grain of salt.I do have one caveat though, I do not like how the memory option works. We had to click these on and off frequently, and in order to shut it off you have to hold the button down for 3 seconds. It seems insignificant but there were many cases where we ended up switching the light by accident, and had to cycle through all of the modes to fix it. And anyone who does do astrophotography knows that your adapted vision gets destroyed by bright lights. So that especially early on was a big issue. I just wish that you could set the light mode and turn it off and on with one button press, and perhaps hold it down to enter the cycle mode.Regardless of that they are worth the money, and on the full brightness setting they are indeed very bright. As I am sure that's what a lot of people will use them for.

Super bright! I used this on my 10k night run and it was enough light for me to see well. Good snug fit. I also appreciated how I could angle the light with the adjustment capability that the light has so that I could shine the light down by my feet while keeping my head straight up. Helped me to see if I’d be kicking any rocks or sticks and helped me to see straight ahead. Nice and lightweight. Love the pink and the excellent brightness.

Bought these for my kids as a stocking stuffer. Did the great price I night each of them their own set of 2. We live in Michigan and it gets dark early, these allow my kids to play outside until 8pm. The lamp tilts down to help with visibility. The light is bright! Two "clear light" modes; the "less bright" seeing is atill bright and is what my kids are using in the picture. My children are 10 & 4 and we can adjust the head strap to comfortably fit each child. Comfortable, not too tight or too hard of pressure from lamp on forehead that creates discomfort.
