Kirschen3353000 Carving Knife with Wooden Handle, Brown/Silver

The product supplied was manufactured by matador, not Kirschen as described. The tool is of the same design but the handle is bare wood and has not been treated, as in the photo. The soft plastic container it was supplied with had been ripped open and this unit put in its place? It is difficult to tell. Please supply the products as you describe them.

This carving knife arrived blunt and I mean totally blunt. In it's current state it would not even be considered a knife. You couldn't even cut through a piece of cheese with it let alone carve wood. It's not fit for purpose. Ridiculous.

When the product arrived it looked fine, however on inspection the grind was poor, having carved for a number of years iam well capable of sharpening and honing a knive, this proved impossible, the quality is lacking, not fit for purpose, I should have returned rather than tried fix.

Arrived well.I'm told it does the job.

bad edge and a tad unwieldy. Not what I was looking for, but I should have gotten some scale images before sending it back.

Good knive a little on the thick side for me.

Wonderful knife for carving with, the handle is the perfect length and thickness and the blade is Very sharp and is well finished I enjoy using this product and plan on buying more from this seller :)

The knife is structurally strong and of good quality, but is too blunt to easily whittle a fairly soft stick. After some vigorous sharpening it might be up to the job.
