This is very pretty. It looks good quality from the front. The teeth are formed from twisted wire, so not especially robust. They are also straight - a slight curve would have been more comfortable for the style I had in mind. However, I have very fine, straight hair and the teeth of the comb are so far apart that it doesn't grip well. If you use hairpins to help it grip it's ok, but bear this in mind when planning your hair style! I don't think it would be an issue if you had thicker or wavy/curly hair. My hair is long, so I can use this when my hair is pinned up, but it falls out if my hair is down. It is also quite heavy. I bought for evening wear, but if you are thinking of using for bridal wear, it's worth knowing that the teeth are attached onto a bar at the back. It would be possible (although a bit fiddly) to sew a veil to the bar if you wanted to.

It's an absolute steal for the price. On first look I wasn't sure but once I put it in my hair it looks really pretty. The pearls seem solid, some of the diamonds aren't in their slots perfectly but let's face it who will be scrutinising it that closely.The prongs are slightly wonky but it has no impact on putting in your hair.It weighs about 35g. A few reviews said it was heavy so thought I'd expand on that. I've not worn it yet so don't know how it will feel but I'm guessing I'll be fine.

I bought this hair comb to hold up long hair piled up into a bundle of curls on top of my head. I used it with smaller similar combs for a posh updo for a gala party. This comb is quite large and capable of holding up quite a lot of hair. It looked very pretty and I was pleased I bought it. The price paid was very small for a quite nice piece of jewellery for your hair. I was very pleased with my purchase.

It came to me broken, the beautiful design had come detached from the comb. I glued it back together as there wasn't time to try and send it back etc. the gluing worked no problem and I used it with my hair up for a ball. It is heavy so needed hair grips to help keep it in place. It is beautiful and it's it inexpensive. I only didn't give it 5 stars as it came broken.
