Not the Lego brand.
These are not the Lego brand.... my grandson (9 y/o) and I found these on Amazon and must have overlooked that they are not Lego's. I asked him if they were harder to put together and he said they were, including the directions. But.... he's having fun with them and they work great, and the backhoe was strong enough to push a full water bottle across the carpet! Impressive! It was a good experience for him to use different instructions than he is used to. He did good!

This was a gift item for a 6 years old. I was told that the pieces were too small and difficult to assemble.

I mean, it's being enjoyed but perhaps not by the person that was supposed to enjoy it.
I bought it for my sisters step kid as a way of being the cool uncle but apparently my sister enjoys it way more. Apparently she chases her dog around the house with it. Lol. Maybe a bit complex for a 7 year old.
