Good quality!!
I recently purchased a 1TB external SSD, and it has been an excellent addition to my tech setup. The speed is impressive—transferring large files takes just a few seconds, and it’s noticeably faster than traditional hard drives. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to carry around, which makes it perfect for on-the-go use. I primarily use it for backups and storing media files, and so far, it has performed flawlessly. The build quality feels sturdy, and I appreciate the sleek design. Overall, if you need fast, reliable, and portable storage, this 1TB SSD is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Budget Portable SSD
I’ve been using the SSK 500GB Portable External NVMe SSD for a while, and overall, it’s a solid option for the price. It’s small, lightweight, and delivers good speeds for everyday use. While it’s not as fast as the SanDisk Extreme Pro, it still gets the job done for general storage and file transfers. The SSK SSD offers decent read and write speeds, usually hovering around 900 MB/s in my tests. The SanDisk Extreme Pro is noticeably faster, often hitting around 2,000 MB/s with the right setup, so if you need top-tier speed for heavy workloads, SanDisk has the edge. But for regular use—moving photos, videos, and backups—the SSK performs well.It has a clean, metal design that feels sturdy but isn’t quite as rugged as the SanDisk, which is more shock-resistant and water-resistant. If you’re constantly on the go and need extra durability, SanDisk might be the better pick. Both drives work great with Windows, macOS, and gaming consoles. The SSK is plug-and-play, which is nice, but SanDisk offers better long-term firmware support, which could matter down the line.Overall if you’re looking for a budget-friendly external NVMe SSD, the SSK 500GB is a great choice. It’s not the fastest out there, but for everyday storage, it works well. If you need faster speeds and extra durability, the SanDisk Extreme Pro is worth considering. But for the price, the SSK is a pretty good deal.

Tiny!!!
Ok, first things first this item is tiny, so make sure you connect it to something or risk losing it in a pocket. That being said though its light weight, transfer speed is excellent, I have dropped it a few times now and all data is safe and secure. Build quality is good no heating up that I could feel, no setup up just plug in and start backing up your data. Overall a great item bit pricier that other units but worth every penny.

Does everything it promised
Fast delivery, well and safely packaged, plug and play without hesitation on my MacBook. Vast capacity, fast enough and remarkably small, which was the key attraction. It really can be carried without any problem at all. Certainly recommended

Fast and reasonably priced drive.
Great drive, worth every penny. Fast response times and easy to use. Make note of the physical size as it was slightly smaller than I was expecting, but this was a good thing in my case. The 250Gb storage is perfect for its intended use.

Small external SSD which is good for keeping large files when on the move
This is a good SSD, the price is good and the storage is also good. It is very small which makes it easy to carry. The default filesystem is exFAT but this can be formatted to the relevant file system if that is what you desire. I have had this for a few months at the time of writing and it has not given me any problems as yet and so I am quite pleased with it.

TERRIBLE DRIVES FOR PROFESSIONAL WORK
TERRIBLE DRIVES FOR PROFESSIONAL WORKQuite simply, they start nice and fast and then over the weeks, they have progressively got slower to the point they no longer even load up properly. I have only had them for 6 months and two have failed on me in the same way.Far too unreliable for important files that you need, or transfers that are actually done at a manageable speed. Don't recommend to anyone. Pay a bit more and go for Sandisk or Samsunyg T7 Drives.
