My garden by the feeder is on a slope exposed to wind. I had a previous model that only had the shaft as a spike. It didn’t last long because the spike was shaped from the main tube and filled with earth so couldn’t be easily relocated. This new model with the spike array is perfect even on a slope.Some accessory feeders are plastic, others are metal and more robust and also easier to refill.All round it’s a good bit of kit.

1. The tube material is good enough for purpose and is bronze enamel coated ++2. Assembling the tubes was ok for an engineer to slightly modify to get it all together, the top tube was flared out and wouldn't allow the top hook hangers to descend and click into place easily, dressed this flaring off and all now assembled3. The tray supports are a spiral fit onto the tube and requires some effort to get them to lock into place and needed aligning straight.4. The supplied bird feeders (different types) are a cheap let down for the premium price and will need to purchase better quality ones to compliment the good stand frame.So yes I think the purchase is a sound one with advisories to future readers and buyers 😉😉😉

Fits nicely next to a bush to give smaller birds a chance as I have a couple of greedy wood pigeons that also like it.

Easy to set up. Lots of space to fill. Nice to watch the birds in the garden

Just slightly wobbly at the top once in ground we had to put a little tape around top joint stop it wobbling on all 4 we bort.
