I usually put the remote control on the arm of my recliner. And it invariably gets knocked off. If there are other things on the floor nearby, it's hard to find. Or, if it slips down between the arm and the seat, it also can be hard to find. These bright little tails make it easy to identify the remote, wherever it has managed to go. The pigtails are bright neon yellow or pink, making it easy to see.I have also put one on the remote control for my space heater in the bedroom. Sometimes the remote has slipped down between the mattress and the frame, and I think this will keep it from doing so. And even if it starts its journey down, the bright pigtail should have disappeared down that rabbit hole and I should be able to find it and recover it quickly. Simple idea, but it works for me.

Awesome product.Unless you own a cat.Was easy to attach to our remotes. Was also able to locate our remote quickly, lost in the depths of the sectional, even in low lighting.The cat was able to locate it quickly too, dangling like a succulent worm from the remote across a bare leg. Luckily, minimal bleeding. Unluckily, the cat was now highly alert for ‘play time’ whenever the remote was picked up. Turning up and down the volume became an episode of 'Survivor'.I was also impressed how quickly this holder trained us to try to put the tv remote away each time after use. In the first week, the cat became drawn to the chewy pigtail nestled between the cushions, so it was no longer an option to casually toss it onto the ottoman or couch. One careless, Netflix-binge-watching afternoon, the remote was left out. In little time, the cat amputated the curly pigtail from his new prey with just two chomps. After a panicky minute of sticking our fingers down his throat to retrieve the pigtail, it was found the missing piece was actually discarded under the couch. Now, there are trust issues that will only be resolved with an offering of an excessive amount of treats. Sadly, the pigtails had to be given away.So, this product met all expectations and works beautifully as intended.Unless you own a cat.

These are fantastic. We ha e not lost a remote controller since we put them on. All you do is feel around with a quick swipe when it's in your chair/ couch and you can feel it! My husband loves it. The bright colors make them easy to spot

Must have if you watch tv in bed and constantly losing the remote in the covers. Work great and haven’t had any issues with button accessibility. Should work on nearly any remote.

These were no help for me.

This is a great novelty item and fits nicely on my remote. The idea of keeping my remote from getting lost is appealing, and it does add a bit of security by tethering it to a fixed spot. However, in practice, it didn’t really help me from losing my remote. I found that the tether can sometimes get tangled or ignored, and I still managed to misplace it a few times. Ultimately, I went ahead and bought a Tile GPS tracker, which makes noise and shows me exactly where my remote is—definitely a more effective solution for me. Still, the tethers are a cute and creative accessory if you’re looking for a low-tech option!

Our tv remotes are small and always hide. These make it so easy to keep track of the remote. I love the different colors for keeping track of different remotes. They are essy to put on and stay on good.
