I bought this to make apple jelly. I like the size also it fits securely over the bowl to catch your juice. Then the ease of storage is good. You just swivel the legs flat and l store it with my baking equipment. Cleaning it easy .I am happy with my purchase.

Easy to assemble and the pitch of the legs means that it can fit a range of collection vessels underneath. I especially loved the metal eyes fitted into the corners of the bag which enables it to take the weight of the pulp with ease.

This proved very useful for making jelly, but with some caveats. The legs sit on top of a bowl which means it is not as tall as others and takes up less room than those that are fixed, the legs also fold flat, but take care there is a wrong direction and I snapped some plastic on mine the first time I did that. The bag is the let down on this product for me. There is only one supplied and it might have been good to have 2 or the ability to purchase an additional so that one can be used for savoury the other for sweet. The bag discolours on first use and will not come clean, and now after 3 uses the fabric is coming away from the eyelet…I am not sure how many uses this will last

I liked the shape of the strainer but it can only be used on a large mixing bowlone of the four metal rings on the jelly bag came off after the first use and it does not appear to be possible to order another oneAll the rings have now come off so it’s not a good buy and I cannot see if the bags can be purchased separately either.The stand is very sturdy but not any good without the jelly bags.It does say on the box that it is guaranteed but does this mean only the stand??

Easy to use and adaptable liked the mesh bag with attachments

First time using a strainer and it worked well.I usually don't strain my jams but must admit the results for my 3 citrus marmalade were crystal clear.Probably will try it with other fruits when I make more jam, only made a few jars a couple of weeks ago so could be a while.

For something that is just plastic it is quite expensive but then you also get the cloth whichhas 4 metal eye holes and I do hope that they will last a bit.I tried to make my own with just an upside down chair but somehow that did not quite workout the way I wanted it to. So far I have used it twice and there is quite a bit of weight that goesinto the cloth but it really is a sturdy contraption and it does the job.
