I decided to purchase this butter tray after extensive research of the alternatives offered on Amazon.It’s design and aesthetic appeal as well as reasonable cost check all the boxes for me…..The tray is flat and not deep which makes it easier to cut the appropriate amount of butter with less mess.There are measurements on the bottom of the tray when you want a more exact amount of butter, and a lip to scrape off excess butter from a knife when you cut too much.The lid is clear to see how much butter is left.The rubber gasket makes for an airtight seal prolonging the freshness of the butter.The plastic construction, BPA free, and rubber bottom makes it quiet to set down, stable in use and light to pick up.Large enough to hold any size of butter.Dishwasher safe.Best $12 I’ve spent in awhile.Very happy.

This product is exactly what I needed. I use it for the Kraft “block” cheese. It’s the perfect size for it. It could also be used for cream cheese, and of course butter. It is easy to slice the cheese right where it sits. I would not use the biggest and sharpest knife that you have, as you might damage the dish, but I have sliced cheese on it several times already and have experienced no problems. The lid provides an air-tight closure, keeping the cheese fresh. It looks great and is very easy to clean, always a plus. The first one I received, had an issue with the lid not fitting tightly. The seller contacted me, and was so nice. They wanted to do whatever they could to make things right, and sent me a replacement immediately. The fact that they reached out to me, and kindly offered to send me a replacement, said a lot about this seller. I would definitely purchase from them again, and encourage my family and friends to purchase from them also, because I know they care about the customer, which is so rare these days.

This is a good butter dish it's easy to open and close, it fits all sizes, it's easy to clean, and it is reasonaly air tight so the butter I keep in my cabinet last much longer since there is nothing worse than trying to spread hard butter on a piece of bread. Would buy again.

I like the idea of soft butter whenever we need it. This KITCHENDAD container is good quality in my opinion. It’s a tiny bit too narrow for the Kirkland brand of butter we enjoy, but I squeezed it in anyway. LOLI especially like the seal that fits the clear top nicely, keeping my butter fresh. I didn’t buy the one with the butter knife because I have so many butter knives already. It’s handy to have the cutting measurements on the butter tray right next to the butter - when I need to measure that will make it easy. It looks fine on my counter - so easy to see what’s inside because the top is clear. It’s easy to use, and I believe it’s a good value.

Ordered the butter dish on June 24th, 2024. It arrived on June 29th. I came here to rate the butter dish and made a discovery, a very surprising discovery. My butter dish is different from all the pictures that are Amazon site. The dish does not have any cutting guidelines on the bottom. It is wide enough for 2 sticks of the store brand butter that I use. The butter stays soft as it's supposed to. I don't refrigerate it at all, and the butter stays fresh. As per the ad for mine, it does not come with a knife. ( No biggy here). The bottom has a black strip on each end, which I assume is supposed to grip the counter. The cover is easy to take off with my arthritic hands. And, I like the fact that it is dishwasher friendly. ( I use the top rack ) As for looks, I think it looks classy. Would I buy this brand again? A resounding YES.

This is a fantastic butter dish made by people who over-think butter. Every teeny detail is perfect. Exact size for French butter. Very slight roughened surface where the butter sits so it doesn't slide around. Curved ends so your knife will glide on up with the butter on it. Clear lid perfectly seals to the base so no funky odors can permeate your butter. Nice little rubber feet so the dish doesn't slide. Handles at each end to help pick it up. Is it crazy to love a butter dish this much?

Best I’ve ever had. It looks nice, can see the butter, not likely to break, air tight, both short ends have a raised curve to help keep the dish clean. It’s great!

A lovely design and a generous size dish for larger than 500g. Excellent quality for the price.

I was looking for a non-slip butter dish to fit Kerry Gold butter and this was exactly what I needed. I wanted it to be slightly longer than the actual pat of butter so that I could use a butter-cutter to cut wafer-thin slices of butter. It is also stylish, robustly made and dishwasher safe. I like the see-through lid. I bought another one for my daughter. Also, I read many Amazon reviews to help me choose.
