This is a neat little insert - solid and useful. Just know you will need an empty Zippo case - I picked up a classic bronze Zippo and used the case (so now I have an extra lighter insert). The insert gives a similar weight and feel of a filled lighter. If you carry a Zippo lighter along with this insert, consider two different looking cases!

I got a lighter in the Army, even though I never smoked. Keeping a little used lighter filled with fluid was pointless, but this insert makes the lighter useful!Yes, the top gets in the way a lot, and it is tight so I don't want to pull it out, but that's an option.Changing tools is a bit of a pain, but better tight than loose. I'm sure it will loosen slightly over time as I changed bits.It is very pocketable, so I always have an EDC screwdriver without looking like an ersatz Batman with pouches everywhere.I've used it several times in the weeks I've had it, I only wish I had it years ago.The magnet is plenty strong, the inserts well chosen, but I could change them out if I need a certain type or size.I also like I have that Zippo sound when opening and closing it.I had no trouble with the TSA last time I flew.5 stars, yes, but a strong 5 stars, no rounding up here!

This is great because if you don’t need a lighter all the time it’s a great option and is a really good pocket screwdriver and it fits into the lighter perfectly and the bits are nice and super easy to change out. It’s super functional and looks great

It’s a zippo product, and is made to the same standards seen in the inserts that we have grown to expect from zippo’s long line of lighters predating this nifty insert. I would have given it 5 stars if the bits reached a bit further beyond the insert than they do, but that is a minor issue, and I have found it to be a handy tool to carry around. I’m a former smoker, and have done some metal detecting. I have a few zippo lighters that I had purchased over the years, and I have one that I dug up while I was out with my metal detector a few years back. The flame insert in the one I dug up is rusted and not useable. I had been wanting to see if zippo could repair it, but had never gotten around to it. When I saw this insert I decided to get it rather than get the flame insert repaired. I quit smoking 15 years ago and the only time I use my zippos is when I’m camping or grilling neither happens very often. The screw driver bits in a zippo insert was a perfect way to make my favorite zippo useable on a more regular basis again. And the familiar trademarked click that a traditional zippo insert makes is built into this screwdriver insert so I get to enjoy the sound of a traditional zippo even though it no longer will start a fire. So it’s a great way to breathe new life into a favorite zippo if you quit smoking but like the idea of carrying a zippo around. I love the way that zippo got creative and found a way to improve on what I had thought was a perfectly designed lighter. Thank you to Zippo for this innovation, and if you want to buy a product made in the USA, this is one to take a serious look at. They are collectible and practical and will out last the owner.

Works great and is a great conversation piece plus adds new life to what for me would have been an unused lighter.

The best addition to my EDC. I carry this everyday now. The Phillips is the perfect size for most applications. Little to no play in bits and surprisingly high-quality steel that doesn't strip.Only gripe is the bits could be a little longer to access tougher spaces.
